"Office was closed at 4:30 on a Sunday. They left a key in an envelope for “late check in’s” At 4:30pm??? Let myself in to the deserted office and spotted a 20something on her phone in the lobby. She showed me the envelope that contained a 2nd floor room. I asked her if we could switch to a downstairs room near the parking space since the place was clearly without any guests. She said she didn’t have the ability to do this and would need to contact the owner. 20 minutes later she appeared and said she could reach the owner but could give me her number so I could try in maybe an hour. Frustrated I gave up and took the 2nd floor room. Photos attached to describe what we found Dirty Ice Bucket w spent coffee filter and trash inside Bloody sheets No blanket. 16” TV circa 2005??? I never give one star reviews but this place deserves one. Don’t come here."

"What a fantastic place to stay for our girls long-weekend trip! Phyllis was a great host, easy to contact, and provided a lot of good details in advance (like a very close, alternate place to park if the 2-car single-line driveway parking was a little too tight -- you need to back out onto Nubble Road.)The cottage was clean and we loved the space! It's about 50 feet from Fox's Lobster House (fantastic lobster!!) and easy walking distance past Fox's to watch sunrises or sunsets at Nubble Lighthouse.My only concern was the loft area as the third BR. Getting up there meant climbing a high narrow ladder -- hard for us 60 year old's to navigate, so one of us slept on the daybed in the LR instead. Either way, would love to stay here again -- what a treat for a great location and great host! Thanks Phyllis!"

"Perfect location for spending time with family. Game room/movies downstairs and large open space on main floor for dining/relaxing (by the fire), all with amazing views. Also bedroom suites throughout with unique and beautiful views. Recommend the top floor east facing suite personally. So close to home for us but still felt like a big vacation!"
