If you're planning to go to Tomogashima island keep in mind that the ferry doesn't sail on Wednesday and may be cancelled on other days due to high wind. I was unable to make it to the island on my 2 night stay so I suppose I will just have to come back again!"

You need to own/rent a car if you stay here because it is difficult to reach from Tokushima (there is a shuttle bus once a day, and a ropeway)."
