My room was nice but smelt heavily of chips due to being above kitchen extraction. Dinner was lovely and priced well. Nice welcome too
Very comfortable stay, room was clean and en-suite with over shower/bath, plenty of plugs and sockets for all your media needs, bed was comfy and had a good night sleep, no noise at all from inside or outside even though in the middle of Eastwood, I didn’t eat but looked reasonably priced.
Room was fine for the price, simple but comfortable, but the staff were excellent, helpfull and accomadating even when issues arised (issues on my end, not the Inn), breakfast in the morning was also goid.
I’ve stayed here twice now and each time was absolutely fine. Staff was incredible and very accommodating.
I’ve booked again for when I’m travelling up in September and very happy to be staying again here.

good for a quick stop over
Parking a bit confuseing but ok, food good and staff friendly decor a bit drab in hallways, room ok. Ideal for a quick stop over.
Staying nearby to work. The most amazing comfy huge beds (room 9) perfect after a 12 hour day… great friendly staff who gave us rooms with baths as requested.. busy friendly pub and close to amenities. Stayed before and would definitely recommend
A very well appointed pub with accommodation. Good beers and food. Great cooked breakfast.
I found it hard to first locate the entrance to the pub car park and, when i did, hard to park up.
Met my mate who goes uni, it’s a bit out from the centre so had to get Uber or the train. But overall nice pub and the rooms are decent.

Hot and noisy
Room was spacious and clean. Basic amenities provided. Extremely hot. Had to close window because of noise outside from smokers etc from pub. Did not stop noise and very noisy from pub itself as room was above. Did not sleep 1st night, but 2nd was not a noisy. Bed rock hard but clean. Loved the pillows. Friendly staff, lovely cleaners.
Nice clean comfy standard room. Friendly staff. No lift had to climb 3 flights of stairs.

Property was ok, clean enough, but just a bit tatty. The shower curtain was yellow at the bottom with black mould around the bath. Room was also very hot. Unable to use car park as full so had to pay for parking. Glad it was only a one night stay

The staff were friendly and helpful, I had a leak come through from the room above and they were full so couldn't move me. Didn't spend much time in the hotel as I was out and about. Parking is cheap enough in the adjacent council car park for £1.30 between 8am and 10pm. Area seems safe enough as well. Its a typical locals pub and I didn't drink or eat in it due to other plans. Would definitely not use again unless it meant me winning loads of money, receiving a gold bar or the chance of bathing with that bird off the One Show.

Rooms were Ok , Staff were polite and helpful , Food was excellent.
The ONLY bad thing i can say about the Sun Inn is the loud music entertainment went on until about midnight , outside the pub was noisy until about 2.30am , and loud traffic noise. I slept about 6 hours over two nights ....... NOT GOOD , and i will NOT be returning.
Made mistake i really needy downstairs room so i really stuggled with stairs. Food was really good, nice portions to. Staff good. Little noise comfy bed. All in all good stay, not sort of place id chose if i realised, to stay. But i enjoyed experience. Just to add im 79 years old
