Attended the hotel nearer to midnight for checkin, but no space to park my car park so instructed to park on road which was fine as it was Sunday. We hadn't paid for breakfast but it was offered at checkin. Our problem was the heating in the room was hurrendously hot with no way of isolating the radiator in our room to turn it down. The weather was awful and facing the main road it wasn't the best nights sleep as we needed the window open to release the hot air. I was going to mention this in the morning but when asked about checking out was told to put the keys in a pot.
The mattresses were not the best either. If you're looking for a one night stay this hotel is perfectly fine but I wouldn't want a second night myself.

Not much parking. Reception didn’t know about availability of street parking or cost?
Not offered WiFi password , or any of the mealtimes. Yes I can easily find out, but it’s nice to be told these things on arrival. If you get a room at the front of the hotel be aware of lots of traffic noise as well as a pedestrian crossing beeping endlessly from about 7am onwards !

Everything a bit dated but no overall complaints staff friendly.
The room was awful , no window just a small top vent and a fire door that was supposed to remain shut
The shared bathroom was vile the door was hanging off the toilet became blocked and the shower over flowed
I would never stay here again
Its more like a hostel than hotel, tired facilities are one thing but it was dirty other peoples hair all over the bathroom pretty grim for over £70 a night
Room was roadside next to constantly beeping pedestrian crossing (all night), this wasn't the property's fault, but the glazing/window seal was really poor, so no noise blocking.

The hotel itself requires a update. It comes across warn out and dated.
You do feel like they have made guest rooms out of storage rooms and stuck a toilet and shower into broom cupboard.
Our room was clean, it had.no ventilation apart from a fire door and a window above that, which will give you a slight draft.
The room we stayed in was located at the very top of the hotel. Access to the room was not great. Climbing higher and higher into the building, passing communal bathrooms . The lacked windows so you can imagine how stuffy it felt.

Very friendly staff, big bed, tea & coffee facilities good but bathroom a little tired. Overall a nice experience.
The radiators were blasting heat, making the room uncomfortable.
The people were amazing, helping getting our heavy suitcases to the third floor.
Although on a busy road, it quieted down over night.

Be wary, a lot of the rooms back onto a fairly busy road so if traffic noise bothers you be aware. It was very loud and the windows weren’t thin enough to block the noise (and I had earplugs).
Everything was good value though, room was nice and clean for the price, bathroom was good as well.
The main desk staff were lovely and helpful.
Kitchen staff for breakfast were a little cranky though, took about 10 minutes for them to take my order and when the unlimited coffee ran out I got a very grumpy response and a delayed attempt at refilling it.
Overall good value for the price but be aware of that road!

It was nice, room was spacious, better than I was expecting. The bathroom is basic though and very light at night. Also not very soundproof. Did what we needed it to though.
