"Bit older interior but rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast is continental but did not like the quality. Good parking space and free. Bit far from the centre and no restaurants close by. Compared to Swedish hotels it was clearly more expensive, especially compared to quality. "

"Stayed one night on a motorcycle trip. Very helpful staff, great room, excellent food in the restaurant. Interior of the hotel had an old, classy feel and we were pleasantly surprised by this. Also: The bathroom had a separate shower room which we’d never seen in any hotel before and we loved it!"

"The Grand Hotel has a good location next to the railway station. It is good, affordable accommodation at less than half the price of the Thon Hotel down the street. There is a good pizzeria next door of you crave an evening snack. No breakfast - there is a Joker convenience store within walking distance. There may be a kitchen where we guests can prepare our food. I did not use it. In short - value for money in this price range. Thank-you for a nice stay!"

"If you are looking for a nice modern hotel with a number of standard amenities
 this ain’t it. If you need the basics; a bed, a bathroom, a shower, very close to the train station, then the Grand Hotel serves those requirements. While the decor, carpeting, etc. has seen many years of service, overall the place was clean and tidy. Manage your own expectations appropriately and you’ll have no issues. "
