Friendly and efficient staff at check in. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The view out the window was a wall and rooftop. Too bad as Halden is a beautiful city to look at. We will definately stay here again.

We truly loved our stay here. The view of the harbor was stunning and there were many places to eat within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. Two complaints - the AC (which we had really hoped for) didn’t cool the room at all, but the front desk admitted it doesn’t work well and provided a fan when asked. Also the Wi-Fi was so slow (even though our room was right above checkin) that most websites wouldn’t load. We would definitely stay there again, but would ask for a fan at checkin (we were lucky enough to snag the last one, stolen from the managers office, right before bedtime).
