A short walk to the sand dunes and glorious sandy beach. This is the best location to explore both Norfolk’s wonderful coastline and its famous Broads National Park with miles of inland waterways. Sea Palling has a wonderful sandy beach backed with sand dunes, perfect for picnics, and plenty of open areas for walking and letting the dogs run freely. The village shop is just a few yards away and the village also has a local fish shop, café, and a pub with music (seasonal) and food served all day. It also has an amusement arcade, a children’s playground, and a water sports shop, where you can hire water sports equipment. The beach is popular for sightings of local seal colonies, has a lifeguard (seasonal) and there are boat launching facilities.
The famous Norfolk Broads, a haven for birds and wildlife, is just a short drive away. The expanse of waterway is best explored by daily boat and river trips. Wroxham, 12 miles, known as the capital of the Broads, has waterside restaurants, cafés, shops and pubs. Take a ride on the miniature Bure Valley steam gauge railway and enjoy a trip to the pretty market town of Aylsham. The city of Norwich, 19 miles, has excellent shopping, with two indoor malls, a market square, a theatre, cinema complexes, a cathedral, and a castle museum, as well as plenty of restaurants and cafés to enjoy. The area is criss-crossed with many trails and paths to enjoy. Further along the coastal path takes you to the seaside resort of Winterton-on-Sea. The traditional seaside towns of Great Yarmouth, 16 miles, Cromer, 22 miles, and Sheringham, 26 miles, offer an array of seaside fun and town centres with shops, cafés and restaurants. Shop 50 yards, pub 340 yards. Beach 350 yards.

Lovely cottage, felt just like home. Had a great time at the beach and local pub. Cafe open 7 days a week for a good breakfast roll and coffee. Would have loved to stay longer!

Lovely spot ideal for the beach and very dog friendly with hard flooring and the enclosed back garden. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. The stairs are very steep though, so you need to be fairly mobile!Overall we had a great stay and may return.
5 mins walk to the dunes and beach. Good accommodation clean and comfortable.. would be even better with a dishwasher. Beds very cimfotsble as were the sifas.

Sea Palling had lovely walks for dogs, and a lovely beach, we were surprised how small a village it was, if it wasn't for walking the dogs there is nothing else to do in the village

Just come back from a lovely few days staying at this charming little cottage.
Just come back from a lovely few days staying at this charming little cottage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay very clean and tastefully decorated. We did read some previous reviews that said the garden was very overgrown but it was absolutely fine and dog proof. Our little dog loved it here. We have a large car which with some careful navigating managed to fit on the gravel drive. Would definitely go back the beach was just down the road and again very dog friendly. The beach was very quiet and he loved running free and digging in the sand. Walked down to where the seals were which was well worth the walk. The only downside was we didn’t make use of either of the lovely little wood burners as it was warm without the heating.
