Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Stairgate. Enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Located 350 yards from the sand dunes and glorious sandy beach close to both the Norfolk Broads and Great Yarmouth Sea Palling has a wonderful sandy beach backed with sand dunes, perfect for picnics, and plenty of open areas for walking and letting the dogs run freely. The village shop is just a few yards away and the village also has a local fish shop, café, and a pub with music (seasonal) with food served all day. It also has an amusement arcade, a children’s playground, and a water sports shop, where you can hire water sports equipment. The beach is popular for sightings of local seal colonies, has a lifeguard (seasonal) and there are boat launching facilities. This beautiful cottage has been completely renovated and makes a wonderful base for a seaside holiday. The living room boasts a wood burner to cosy up to on those cooler nights. It enjoys a lovely enclosed garden, perfect for relaxing and al fresco dining at the rear of the property. Please note: guests will need to bring their own pods for the Nespresso coffee machine.

The famous Norfolk Broads, a haven for birds and wildlife, is just a short drive away. The expanse of the waterway is best explored by daily boat and river trips. Wroxham, 12 miles, known as the capital of the Broads, has waterside restaurants, cafés, shops, and pubs. Take a ride on the miniature Bure Valley steam gauge railway and enjoy a trip to the pretty market town of Aylsham. Wroxham train station offers railway trips to the seaside and the city of Norwich. The city of Norwich, 19 miles away, has excellent shopping, with two indoor malls, a market square, a theatre, cinema complexes, a cathedral, and a castle museum, as well as plenty of restaurants and cafés to enjoy. The area is criss-crossed with many trails and paths to enjoy. Further along the coastal path takes you to the seaside resort of Winterton-on-Sea. The traditional seaside towns of Great Yarmouth, 16 miles, Cromer, 22 miles, and Sheringham, 26 miles, offer an array of seaside fun and town centres with shops, cafés, and restaurants. Beach 350 yards. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 340 yards.

Very helpful owner, I had a enquiry re parking at the cottage before we went, she explained that so long as your wheels did not touch the yellow lines and it didn’t matter if your car hung over them.A short while after we arrived the front door lock would not operate to secure the door, I phoned the maintenance number in the book and they arrived within the hour.

The cottage was a lovely place to spend a Christmas break.

The cottage was a lovely place to spend a Christmas break. It was clean on arrival and warm. The kitchen was great - having a washing machine and dishwasher were great additions. The cottage is perfectly located with a little shop within a 1 minute walk, plus a pub, fish and chip shop and more 2 mins away by the beach/ sand dunes. Perfect area for walking dogs. The only downside for us was the garden which, while a wonderful size, had fence areas, particularly directly outside the kitchen which were only a foot high (and led into several back gardens, not just one) and so most breeds of dogs could jump over at the sight of a cat, child playing with a ball next door etc... We'd visit again, but only out of season when we suspect people won't be in the gardens next door.
