"Our room had a good design with bathroom adjoined by a wardrobe area with a luggage rack big enough for two suitcases. Large, comfortable bed, sitting chairs & desk. Loved the rainfall showerhead. Window view of street and church across the road. Could walk to many pubs & restaurants. Parking is outdoor and right next to the hotel. Great for a couple. "

This place, the Coach House, was a home-away-from-home and comfortable place to be "home base" while on holidays. It will be our #1 pick for each Tassie trip."

"The old rooms are well set out and my stay was comfortable as I prepared for a visit for a procedure in a private hospital. Close to woolworths and other shop amenities."

"The staff were very helpful and the room was spotless. The complimentary biscuits, kitkats and wine was an extra special touch and the guest laundry was close by and free to use. The lodge is very picturesque with beautiful walks right at the front of reception."
