    Please note that we will NOT provide the following items: bedding & linens such as towels, bedsheets, blankets, and duvets, but we have pillows. Guests must bring their own linens. And we only accept Saturday-to-Saturday weekly bookings during the hot season.

Slice of Heaven

Our stay was absolutely great! The location is superb and the view is even better. We enjoyed biking and hiking in the area and discovered Dorcas Bay on kayaks. The hosts thought of everything so that guests can enjoy and relax. Would definitely stay again!

Bruce Peninsula Getaway

A beautiful, peaceful piece of paradise, perfectly located to easily enjoy the best of the Bruce Peninsula. The cottage was clean and well appointed with an immense deck and incredible views. So easy to unplug and get lost in the beautiful sunsets and starry nights.

Wonderful holiday

The cottage is in pristine condition everything looks clean and fresh. The property is private and comfortably set up to take in the beautiful sunsets and the sound of the surf. It was also great to see our dog enjoying herself! It’s the perfect place to relax and take in the Bruce Peninsula.

Wonderful trip

We had a great time at this cottage. The lakeside location was gorgeous. We loved that Singing Sands beach was so close (less than 10 min drive) and proximity to the grocery store and restaurants/shops was great (less than 20 min drive). Check in was very simple, the cottage was clean and equipped with everything we needed, and the hosts were quick to respond to and resolve any concerns we had. I hope we can stay here again!

Home again!

My husband's family were the original owners until we sold a few years back. When we booked we were so excited to be back to see our little piece of paradise. We were so happy to see all the improvements made. The cottage is wonderfully set up and so clean. The huge deck is absolutely lovely for dinners outside and enjoying the view Our hosts were wonderfully quick to respond to any of our questions. This vacation was like going back home again! We enjoyed it so much.

Beautiful week on Dorcas Bay!

My husband and I and our two young adult sons (who still love skipping stones on the shore) loved the stay in Michael's cottage. One of the cleanest rentals we have stayed at! Everything we needed was there for us, even a feeding spot all set up for our pup. Lots of living space, plus a huge deck which doubles that. Comfortable beds, Postcard view of the sunset every night. Michael responded immediately to any questions. Highly recommended if you plan to visit the Bruce Peninsula.

Amazing property and owners

I had reached out to Michael as my now FiancĂ©es family were the original owners of this property. I wanted to propose here but didn’t know if that would be possible. Michael went above and beyond to make that a reality for us. Cannot say enough great things about Michael. A genuine human being! As for the property, if you book here you will not be disappointed! The view is stunning, the cottage is cozy and it is very serene. We have spent many years here enjoying a fire while listening to the waves crash. If you love sunsets and starry skies this place is for you! Lots of places to hike around the area as well. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and look forward to going back! Thank you Michael for all of your generosity and quick communication!

This cottage had the perfect location to explore the park, Tobermory & the upper Bruce peninsula. It is in the most peaceful, quiet "neighborhood"....I went for a run twice & we walked our dog everyday safely with no concerns. The home was very clean & well stocked. We had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfy, bedside lamps, ceiling fans, space heaters, charging station.....the list goes on, conveniences were thoughtfully available. This is appreciably one of the few dog friendly homes who actually had a setup for our dog- elevated stand with bowls & a mat. What the owner has here above & beyond anything else is the phenomenal view 24/7. The lake can be seen from the living room, kitchen & dining area thanks to the large windows across the entire back of the house- sunrises, sunsets, fog on the lake, storm rolling in, windy waves, peaceful flat calm water.....you can see it all, all day & night. The deck spreads across the entire back of the home with a nice grass yard to enjoy as well as trees filled with songbirds. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening, we took the kayaks for a paddle one afternoon & we relaxed in the Adirondack chairs almost everyday. We had a few snowshoe hare in the yard every day too. One evening there was no wind, no birds, no water lapping on the shore, no sound...I can't remember the last time I had that much of a peaceful silence. Thank you Michael for a wonderful stay & much needed getaway. We would rent your place again in a heartbeat

A lovely quiet home and everything worked well. A great view. Need water shoes or runners to walk on Stoney shore to get close to the water. Having access to Park Pass was great, even though entrance to National Park is free at this time, parking is not. It’s 17.50 a day so a lovely savings.

Wonderful spot!
