Very clean, pet friendly, the owner always responded promptly.
The thermostat temperature of the furnace can only be hold for 2 hours, requiring frequent changing the temperature throughout the day and night.
The furnace is extremely loud.
The space is lovely, and it was quiet and relaxing just like we had hoped it would be. We did pass by it when we first got there, there wasn't clear signage that was visible from the road.
We are big tea drinkers and like boiling water to steep our tea, so an absence of a kettle was disappointing, the fridge is not very big, so the capacity (of which we used it for) to keep our food cold wasn't really there (we did a modified thanksgiving dinner and snacks for hiking)
I know the listing says it sleeps 8-10 people but we had 8 people (I slept on the couch) and it was just a tad over crowded. (3 different families, so bed sharing was not an option for me)
We also really would have liked to utilize the back deck more but with how cool it was we couldn't. Idk if a propane heat source would be beneficial or not.
Otherwise it was a lovely trip, ver central to things we wanted to do, it was warm and comfortable and we all enjoyed ourselves while we stayed there. Thank you!
Nicely appointed cottage, very peaceful, quiet, close to all amenities. Exactly as advertised!

This cottage is perfect for a Bruce Peninsula National Park getaway. It's away from the main thoroughfare and is so cozy and comfortable. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by a night and booked a return trip before we had even left.

Had the most perfect stay at this beautiful cottage in Tobermory. Only a short drive to all the main attractions. Perfect for a little family getaway. So peaceful and the property was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.
Host was very accommodating. Overall, five stars on everything.
My dog and I stayed here for a couple nights and within being there for a few hours I have booked us in again for a longer stay. Very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Close to the dog park and downtown Tobermory. Can’t wait to go back
Wonderful place, very private and well designed. We found everything we needed and host was very quick to respond. Just a short drive to Tobermory and Bruce trail.
We had a wonderful relaxing time at the cottage. It is very private and quiet. Well-equipped, comfortable and clean. The host responds quickly to any questions. Gorgeous location.
We spent a long weekend here at the end of February celebrating our son’s birthday. It was the perfect spot for a cozy winter getaway playing games together, curling up in front of movies and seeing the stars at night. Carolyn has done a beautiful job making this space warm and inviting and is a very responsive host for any questions you may have. Thanks for a great stay!
Just returned from a fabulous stay at this lovely cottage. I have never rented a cottage before and was worried about the check-in process, but Carolyn made the process soooo easy. The pictures of the interior of the cottage did not lie, it was very nice and clean. Our dogs really enjoyed the surrounding property, especially the little creek/stream behing the cottage. Even though we did not get to enjoy sitting outside as it was too cold, it was nice at night to see the solar lights around the firepit. Overall, a wonderful trip!
This was such a wonderful place to stay! Very clean, cozy, and private. Everything was provided and then some. Our host was very responsive and even offered tips for local activities occuring. To have our dog join us on the trip was just amazing and we all had a fabulous trip. Would love to stay here again on our next trip up!
Everyone loved the cottage and being able to spend time outside. The website profile is exactly what you get when you arrive. We had an awesome family time together at the cottage. Will certainly be back.
This house was exactly as I expected with a little more. The photos don't do the property justice. There are so many cozy seating areas outside. We had plenty of towels and extra cozy blankets for watching a movie after hiking all day. There is a little fisher price slide and swing set we didn't expect that my son loved. There are lights around the fire pit with lots of chairs and fire sticks for s'mores or hot dogs. We saw a bear in the road and heard coyotes super close so keep your dogs on a leash! With that said, my dog loved this home as much as us with many outdoor spaces to sniff and explore. The nearby hikes and beaches and even restaurant patios are mostly all dog friendly. Just down the road is access to the water via sunset point that I highly recommend!
