"There is something about this hotel that is both charming and nostalgic. Downtown Virginia is almost like a step back in time to the 1960's Mayberry of the Andy Griffin Show. Almost all of the stores were closed on Sunday with the exception of the neighborhood sports bar Snickers (refreshing) and I think they even have a couple of Otis characters about as well milling about. The hotel also has both a pool and sauna. Definitely, I would recommend a stay. "
