"This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely. Thank you for sharing your property."

"Very nice room. We had to call the cleaning people back in as several items were not clean when we checked in. They were gracious and apologized and went right back to tackle the issues. It would not prevent me from staying there again. Maybe the staff could be a little more informed on the parking situation to share with the staff. Otherwise, very nice and spacious rooms. "

"First time at this hotel, and we really liked it! Great value for the price of our stay. The pool area was nice and included a hot tub and sauna. Breakfast was petty good, though there could have been more hot items and they ran out of waffle mix. Room was spacious and clean and beds were comfortable. We would stay here again!"

"Passing through Duluth and found this Gem. Very clean, breakfast was good, beds and pillows very good. Parking was easy and only 10 minute drive to Canal park. Price was very good for this place"

"Nice place but really needs to be updated. This hotel was built in 1979 and I swear it has the same wallpaper on the walls in the rooms. In the room I was in the wallpaper was pealing away from the wall next to the window. The rooftop bar and grill was very nice and they served a mean smash burger!!"
