"A gem in Hatfield. A beautiful art deco building and the rooms are decorated in a fitting style. Large room, beautiful bathroom, clean, quiet, plenty of parking and a bar for dinner! I’ll stay again."

"The surroundings are beautiful. There are a few areas that need a little TLC including in the room I stayed in. I will say my room was immaculately clean with fresh linen and towels. Rose on reception was brilliant, instead of pointing me to my room she took the time to show me the way. The food in restaurant is excellent, 10/10 to the chefs. There are symbols next to food items on menu which I didn't know meaning of, maybe a key chart would be beneficial. Kayla behind the bar was attentive and professional, as were all members of staff I met. Definitely would recommend."

"This hotel was not quite my cup of tea. On entering there wasn't a fresh smell and the whole property could benefit from opening windows. The first room I was offered on the top floor was not acceptable. There were stains on the ceiling from water ingress and the carpet had dirt stains. The next room was clean and acceptable although it was only just big enough for two single beds. The room next door was the laundry room and one of the machines beeped throughout the night. Breakfast was average, and my spoon was not clean - I used a teaspoon from my coffee instead. I left on the second night, instead of staying for the final night, as my sleep was disrupted."

"Great hotel, handy to the tube, plenty of local shops and cafes in walking distance. Room was very clean and spacious. Room did not have carpet, which I thought strange, but it was probably more hygienic. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"The breakfast was okay, unfortuately the bacon was as tough as old boots, unedable, it obviously had been under the hot lamps far to long, no beans or black pudding available. The lift door was very slow to open obviously in need of maintenance, Mirrors in the room smeary, the ensuite dirty and in need of upgrading, shower over bath needs replacing, the shower head needs replacing or cleaning, the controls were hard to operate very stiff, the wash basin tap old and stiff, the WC was dirty inclding the floor area. Other than that the staff were great and very friendly, welcoming, the service perfect and our evening meal amazing "

"We had a truly magical stay from start to finish (2 adults 2 kids). Bedrock is absolutely stunning, spotless, and full of charm, with every detail so thoughtfully considered. The atmosphere made the whole experience feel very special and memorable. Our host, Keeley, was absolutely fantastic - warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and her hospitality really elevated the entire experience. It is such a magical space, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay and can't wait to return. Highly recommended."
