"Beautiful property, perfect location, waking up to the sun rising over the mountains felt like a dream."

"We had 4 adults, three kids and a dog and the house was great. The location and views were the best part! Communication with the host was phenomenal (immediate responses)! There were lots of amenities like heaters on the deck, pool table, hot tub and FULLY stocked kitchen. The deck in back had a gate at the side so we didn't have to worry about the kids or the dogs escaping. We had a couple of issues but the host resolved them very quickly. The only things I would mention is that the house is aging and with that comes things like some missing screens on the windows so we couldn't open them and a few other windows that we could open had to be propped open with a log. The lighting in the dining room (where we liked to play games) is a bit inadequate so we had to improvise there. But, I'm not lowering my rating because of those things. Mountain houses are supposed to be a bit rustic. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and really didn't want to leave!"

"Excellent cabin with a million dollar view off the back deck. Close to Great Sand Dunes National Park and other hiking opportunities near by. Would love to stay there again!"

"We came for a concert at Red Rocks and to do some sightseeing. The house was clean and stylish. It felt like a real treehouse-the views are lovely. It has an amazing outdoor area also. The AC/heat works very well and there is a nice cross breeze in the sleeping loft. It’s a very unique and well done space. One note: the ladder to loft is very sturdy and well made but pretty long and high so think about who is going to be sleeping in the loft and if they can handle the ladder!"

"Our Christmas at Red Rock's Retreat was nothing short of magical and far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the care and thoughtfulness that Mike and Traci put into their home were evident. We've stayed at many vacation rentals, but this was by far the most well-stocked and inviting one yet!Our family, visiting from California and Georgia, experienced a true Colorado Christmas—snow and all! The tasteful holiday decorations (no need for our backup Christmas tree this year!) made it feel so cozy and festive. The space was perfect for our group of seven (2 seniors, 3 adults, and 2 teens). The largest room had two incredibly comfy California King beds and fit our family of four perfectly. The other upstairs bedroom has a King bed and twin-over-full bunk, which would work well for smaller families or kids. The setup might be tricky for groups with more than four couples unless some are very close. Each floor has a shared full bath with double sinks, which works well, though a separate main-level half bath would be nice.The kitchen is perfect—fully stocked for our big holiday meals. We also loved the game room, hot tub, and thoughtful touches like complimentary wine, local coffee beans, personalized mugs, and cozy robes. The breathtaking views, quick drive from Denver, and proximity to Red Rocks, Morrison, and Evergreen made this home even better. As noted, all-wheel or 4WD would be recommended in winter. We highly recommend and will definitely return!"
