"Had a great time here celebrating our wedding anniversary ❤️. The pool and

were nice over looking the beach. The bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Some minor balcony wear, but thats to be expected at a hotel in the beach. Staff was friendly. Only complaint is the elevator is tiny. I took the stairs a couple of times when the lines were long. Other than that we enjoed our stay. "

"We had a really good stay at Monterrey. The staff was kind, brought in new towels, emptied the trash and cleaned the floors each morning (HUGE thank you since sand gets EVERYWHERE!). The beds were comfortable with soft pillows so we slept well. Our only issues was the water pressure was not great so showering took a long time but at least we got clean, lol. Also, the pictures show full sized fridges but they're mini fridges. I packed meals for our stay so had to do some tetris action to make it...

"Roaches in the bed crawling on me! The toilet leaked into the bathroom. The bathroom was flooded when we left at 2:00 in the morning. You don’t even need to drive 3 minutes to the beach to wade in the surf! Fortunately Motel 6 up the road “kept the light on for us”. It was about 10 minutes additional drive to the beach but worth it! Motel 6 had a clean room, friendly staff, a pool, good coffee in the morning and ice machines. And it was cheaper! "

"We had such a great time in Corpus!! The property was perfect!! Clean, well stocked, extra comfy bed, A/C worked great, and the perfect location! We didn’t make it to the pool, but it looked inviting nonetheless. I highly recommend this property! We will definitely stay here again! 💕"
