"Know before you go! I travel a lot with my family of 7, and expect clean, comfortable and safe. You won’t get that with this terribly managed hotel. The staff can only do so much, with what they’re given. Our room wasn’t ready at check in. The air conditioner in the second bedroom was broken and stuck at 66°. Because it constantly ran, the carpet in front of the air conditioner was wet. The water pressure was extremely low in the shower and sink. The mattress in the pullout sofa was rusty and hard to lay on. The room had a clump of hair on the carpet that was not ours. There were signs of wear and rust everywhere, with “patching” repairs done. For what we paid, I regret staying here."

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Don’t waste your money Upon arriving to our room I placed my clothes for the race I was participating in the following morning in the corner or the room so it could be easy to find when I woke up. I had to move the clothes when we changed room…I’ll get to that … and two big roaches ran out of my clothes. Super classy! Okay so back to when we had to move to a new room. 10:20pm my wife got out of the shower and was about to blow dry her hair when the wall outlet In the restroom didn’t work. The obvious thing to do next would be call the front desk. Which was what I try to do but the room phone didn’t work. I called the hotel off my phone. No answer. I decided to visit the front desk and ask how we could resolve the issue. Mind you we had a race in the morning and I was already laying down when all this happened. When getting to the front desk I explained the issue to the young lady and she told me she could get me into another room and I accepted. With the caveat that they made sure that the outlet in the restroom worked and I was told that it would. So I packed up everything and took it to the next room. Unpacked everything. And the outlets In that restroom didn’t work either. They offered me another room again and the outlet didn’t work there either. At around 11pm I was given the option of a full refund and leaving. Lmao in the middle of the night that’s how they accommodate the guest. The hot tub doesn’t work and the pool has no filter and is.."

"Sheets were dirty. Were not changed from prior guest. Mold on lampshade mold on shower curtain used soap in bathtub drain. Overall disgusting "

"Lively Beach used to be one of my favorite resorts in Texas but my last stay was a disappointment. The check-in/check-out is a so clunky. At 4pm, I was still waiting for a code to get into the property and the office didn’t answer. I was out by 10am check out time but didn’t receive any information about checking out electronically until 9pm that night. The resort is showing a lot of wear and tear. I’m sad about it because it’s a really beautiful place."

"I regularly frequent this property I always look forward to coming down to the island and as it stands now and has been this way for years this is the only place I want to stay at Puente Vista has the perfect location and the views are priceless it is peaceful clean and quiet I enjoy seeing all the bird life and fishing off one of the many docks scattered throughout the property including behind your personal condo. These are very well maintained condos and the beach is just down the street a few blocks off the main drag. Everything in the unit is easy to operate tvs the kitchen perfect size everything modern comfortable furniture and beds a/c works great when needed"
