Simple Cranberry & Wine Farm Home w/ Fire Pit!

10/10 Excellent

"We had a group of 6 adults that were in town for the Septimber Ride in Eagle River. The house was spacious, clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable as well as the living and dining room furniture. It is unique as the house is on a working cranberry farm. They have live music and public events but in no way does it infringe on the accommodations. They have free tours if interested in learning about cranberry bogs. We all did the tour and was fun and very enlightening!! Also a gift shop on the premises with lots of cranberry merchandise .. imagine that. 😉😊 All is family owned and operated, they are present and they are so delightful. Was slightly disappointed in what they state is a grill. It is a charcoal grill like you would find in a park or campsite. Fortunately we did not have to rely on it as we had a Blackstone with us. That would be my one and only complaint as I was expecting like a Weber grill. This certainly did not impact our stay. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive into Eagle River on beautiful scenic roads. And a bit longer to Three Lakes which has a lovely winery. Would highly recommend Simple Cranberry Farm House w/fire pit. One last thing, upon arrival we noticed hornets near the entry. I called my contact and explained and within 10 minutes someone was there taking care of them. Did not see another hornets tge rest of our stay. I give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"This cottage sits directly on the water. You see eagles soaring and hear loons. The view is truly heavenly. The unit has its own dock for your boat, and it's a short boat-ride away to Pitlik's, a beautifully maintained resort with a yummy Friday-night fish fry. The unit is part of an old 1920s restaurant, converted into two cabins, and although there were guests in the adjoining cabin, we never heard them and rarely saw them. It is still very private."

"Beautiful and peaceful property. Everything was just as pictured. Cabin was nostalgic with its wood ceilings, beautiful screen porch, and up north decor. Host was easy to communicate with and helpful with questions that came up and even greeted us upon arrival. Lake was calm and not as busy as expected for a holiday weekend. Being in a bay made docking our boat easy. Was just the place we needed to unwind for a few days. (unrelated to property specific - Just a note about the public boat launch location - water was unseasonably low due to lack of rain - it's a steep launch - wasn't impossible but was challenging.)"

There were several games to choose from and wood for outside campfire during the stay as well. It was a fun and relaxing long Labor Day weekend with family and friends."

"Three generations of family enjoyed this perfect five bedroom northwoods, lakeside cabin. We swam, kayaked, and paddleboarded daily. Lots of northwoods hiking nearby. Three sliding glass doors from three different rooms opened onto a great deck overlooking the lake. Recycling and composting made easy. A friendly host responds quickly and provides helpful information."
