Thoroughly enjoyed the location and atmosphere at the kookaburra cottage. Was everything it said it would be. Our grandson loved seeing the chickens. We all loved the complimentary breakfast.

This was the second time I have taken friends to stay here. As always, the property was spotless, comfortable, quiet and private. The breakfast hampers are always great and we even stretched our to last for two mornings!

Mother's day long weekend away

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Immaculate cottage with all you need. Bed & pillows were amazingly comfortable. Lovely views & a great log fire which was easy to light. Lovely breakfast & goodies all stocked up & was even offered more home cooked bread if we wanted. Great location a few minutes drive to township. Hosts very nice & friendly. All in all a fabulous place to stay. Hope to return one day.

Lovely Property and awesome hospitality

Modern and very clean guesthouse. Beds were snuggly and I imagine would be delicious in winter. The breakfast provided was superb. Check in super easy and directions accurate. Spacious with a great deck to listen to the birds. In fact, I have already rebooked to take other guests next year. Looking forward to it.

Cottage was just magic. Driveway a challenge for older people when taxis can not pick up closer to you. Too steep for elderly folks. But loved loved the cottage & location. Really enjoyed our short stay. 5 star + Thanks again

Girls trip

Flew interstate for a friends wedding, rented ‘On Burgum Pond’ Guesthouse for 3 nights with some friends. Very comfortable stay for 3 adults. With a large kitchen/living area, 2 separate walk in robes and 2 ensuites, it is perfect for getting ready for a wedding or event. Just 5-10mins drive to the supermarket and local cafe strip. Perfect location for a tranquil getaway. The property was clean and well maintained. No issues had during our stay. The owners were incredibly kind, providing a breakfast hamper with freshly baked bread, eggs, fruit and spreads which lasted our entire trip. Lovely view of the pond off the back deck. Would recommend if staying in Maleny or visiting Sunshine Coast.

Linda and Anthony were great hosts, amazing accommodation easy communication and they have thought of everything you might need for your stay.
