The atmosphere was so family oriented and the water toys and evening fires along with beautiful views and friendly quests. We can't say enough about this resort! "Everything was as described in the listing, lots of space and room. The owner was phenomenal, kept communicating with us to ensure wer alright and didn't need anything. The kids had lots of fun from playing board games, using the jacuzzi to swimming ( beach is about 5 min away). Over all it was great."

"The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. Upon entry, a half hour later, the floors were soaking wet and slippery. The garbages were not empty in the bathrooms. The bedding was not freshly laundered. "Beautiful place ! Everything was in good condition. Well stocked with dishes, amenities and water activities (boat, canoe, kayaks). Beautiful gazebo and cozy cabins. Less privacy than expected with neighbouring cottages and an early quiet time (9pm). One thing we would have liked to know ahead of time was having to bring all garbage home with us. Check in and check out was straightforward. Hosts were quick to answer messages and super helpful. Was the perfect setting for our girls weekend. "

"Our 2 night stay was great. The quiet was just what we needed. Clean and very organized cottage. There was everything we needed already there (minus food & drink). There is a small store in Gooderham, & Minden or Haliburton were @ 30min away. The lake was calm and not busy. We didn't get a chance to use the Arcade, but there was foosball, darts and others games for kids. Hot tub was nice. Its only a 2 person (or 4 Kevin Harts). The sauna was nice. Took a bit to the fire going, but got it ....

"Terrible experience. Host never showed and vrbo dropped the ball on making it right. Had to self lodge for three nights of one week vacation. Then vrbo stuck me at some backwoods fishing camp. Still have not recovered refund or costs of self lodging when they assured me that I would receive both. Terrible customer service and overall vacation experience from hell. Never using vrbo ever again."
