About this property

A gorgeous bedroom/bath w/private entry. Yosemite/Bass Lake/Sequoia Parks.

  • This is a bedroom and bathroom with an exterior private entrance located at the end of our residence. It is private and secure. Enjoy books, puzzles and card games. I have lots of crafts if you desire, so don’t hesitate to ask. The home is located near the end of a private Road. You will have access to a shared back yard, seasonal fire pit and bbq upon request. (Provide your own wood and charcoal). In our little town of North Fork you will find a Pizza Factory, North Fork BBQ (BBQ and smoked meats) and the infamous Buckhorn Bar. Don’t hesitate to ask about breakfast and dinner alternatives.

Bret and Janel, were wonderful hosts, both very kind and welcoming! They have an absolutely beautiful property. The room was very clean, comfortable and nice to come home to after visiting the park. Yosemite park entrance is only about 25 miles away. Will definitely stay here again when coming to visit Yosemite!

Cozy & Comfy

We had all we needed for a comfortable overnight stay, as well as a delicious breakfast (extra fee) with hosts. Decor is inviting and relaxing; bed is extremely cozy and restful; bathroom is spacious and luxurious; in-room amenities are ample. All very thoughtfully provided and arranged. Very helpful hosts with excellent communication. Highly recommend asking Janel to prepare your breakfast!

Absolutely beautiful

Our visit to the Yosemite Mountains was stress free. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the full sized shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The homemade cookies were delicious too. Thanks again for everything.

The Finegold Nugget provided delightful, well-appointed accomodations (more than expected, with the assortment of dishes and flatware also provided). Beautiful room and beautiful grounds. We had a very relaxing weekend, which was the goal! If I had any complaint, it might be that the mini-fridge in the room was more mini than I was expecting. We filled it up! And as a suggestion, possibly get some mini ice trays to put in the freezer so the guests could have ice available if they wished. The host did say "Let us know if you need anything", but I didn't want to pester them for ice, so I survived! Again, a wonderful experience and we look forward to visiting again sometime!

Lovely retreat in the mountains

A friend and I stayed overnight for a girls' getaway. The property is nestled in a secluded area of the mountains, offering true relaxation and time away from the busy world. The hosts provided clear directions and an easy check in process. The room was well decorated with a neutral, mountain vibe, and there were warm cookies ready for us to enjoy. The amount of space was exactly what we needed. The hosts provided great suggestions on hiking trails and places to eat in the area. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Overnight stay

We were going to the Sugar Pine Railroad for a jazz concert on a Sunday afternoon. Decided we wanted to stay overnight nearby and then drive back home to Visalia on Monday. We arrived later than expected, but our hosts were very accommodating. Everything was very nice as had been shown on the website. The cookies were a wonderful surprise and very yummy 😋 Would definitely recommend ❤️❤️

Very nice home away from home

We were really pleased with the accommodations, we had everything we needed and then some( cookies and coffee), clean, bed comfortable, nicely decorated. Very country like, rural setting which we love. Owners were very attentive to make sure we were comfortable. It is near Bass Lake, we ate at Ducey’s 3 times that week because the setting was so perfect and food so good. The only thing we could have hoped for was that is was 20 minute closer to Yosemite so we could make sunrise. It is a 45 min ride with no traffic.
