About this property

1 Min to Cranmore - Sleeps 12 - 4 levels - Arcade Bunk Room- 3 Min to Downtown

  • Twelve guests, one mountain chalet, minutes from the best of North Conway.

The Retreat at Vista View is a four-bedroom mountain getaway just a 1 minute drive from Cranmore Mountain and 3 minutes from downtown North Conway. Come for fall foliage, hiking, skiing or a White Mountains weekend away. End unit for added privacy, four levels, a wood burning fireplace, an arcade bunk room and plenty of space to spread out, it's made for families and groups traveling together.

    THE CHALET

The main level is where everyone comes together, with a wood burning fireplace for cool mountain nights and plenty of space to relax after a day of hiking, exploring North Conway or skiing/snowboarding at Cranmore.

Step outside to the back deck with an outdoor dining table and Adirondack chairs, a great spot for dinner, drinks or relaxing outside. Off the kitchen, a second deck has a gas grill ready for the chef of the group.

Upstairs, the second level loft gives you another place to relax with a couch, loveseat, coffee table and a full lineup of adult and family games. The king bedroom and a queen bedroom are also on this level and share a full bath. A private balcony with a small table and two chairs is the perfect spot for morning coffee.

The top level has its own private queen bedroom with an attached bath, giving guests a little extra privacy and separation from the group.

    THE BUNK ROOM

This is where the kids tend to disappear and the adults get to relax. The lower level bunk room has two sets of bunks, a queen pullout sofa, its own TV and lounge area, plus three full size arcade games: Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam and Golden Tee.

There's also a built in charging station so everyone has a spot for their devices. Part bunk room, part game room, it's usually one of the kids' favorite parts of the house.

    EXPLORE THE WHITE MOUNTAINS

One of our favorite things about this location is how close you are to everything while still having a mountain getaway to come home to.

Cranmore Mountain is just a 1 minute drive away and is also walkable through the neighborhood streets without having to walk along a busy main road. Skiing and snowboarding in the winter, plus the mountain coaster and seasonal activities, are practically right around the corner.

Diana's Baths waterfalls and swimming holes are about 10 minutes away.

The Saco River is about 10 minutes away for tubing and summer days on the water.

Story Land is about 15 minutes away for classic New England family fun.

The Kancamagus Highway is nearby and is one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the White Mountains, especially during fall foliage.

The Conway Scenic Railroad is just 3 minutes away, along with downtown North Conway's restaurants, local shops and breweries.

Tax free outlet shopping is also just minutes away.

White Mountain hiking is all around you, with everything from easy waterfall walks to mountain summits.

Fall foliage typically peaks around early October, and it really does live up to the hype.

    A LOCAL FAVORITE

After a day out, head into town to Flatbread Pizza, one of our North Conway favorites and an easy choice for the whole group.

    ARRIVE AND SETTLE IN

We've taken care of the little things so you don't have to make a store run the minute you arrive.

Starter shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided in every bathroom, along with detergent and dryer sheets for a load of laundry.

The kitchen is fully stocked for actually cooking, with cookware, spices and olive oil, plus extras like a blender, hand mixer and tea kettle. You'll also find dish soap, a sponge, dishwasher detergent, unlimited trash bags, two rolls of paper towels and two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom.

Coffee for a full pot, tea, hot chocolate and non dairy creamer are ready to go too.

We've also placed phone chargers in each bedroom, with a built in charging station in the bunk room, so you can leave the extras at home.

The basics are handled so you can unpack and start enjoying your stay.

    GUEST ACCESS

Guests have private access to the entire four level chalet, including all bedrooms, living spaces, the bunk and game room, laundry area, decks and outdoor spaces.

You'll have self check in for an easy arrival and two designated parking spaces during your stay.

The garage and one utility closet on the lower level are reserved for owner use and are not accessible to guests. All other areas of the home are yours to enjoy during your stay.

The Retreat at Vista View started as our dream home away from home, and we love sharing it with families and groups coming to enjoy the White Mountains.

Whether you're here for fall foliage, ski season, summer adventures or just a weekend away in the mountains, we hope it feels like your home away from home too. If you have any questions before booking, feel free to reach out.
