"The property was very well cared for and peaceful. The breakfast was excellent. Little amenities like hot chocolate and fresh baked cookies were a plus. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast."

"The Staff were all very professional and friendly. I had a minor issue with the TV and it was fixed asap. The Hot Breakfast spread was beyond expectations and very tasty. The Spa is large and hot. The Pool was refreshing. I'd like to remark on how VERY clean the entire Hotel is and the room and beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend. "

My stay at the Cartier Mansion in Ludington, Michigan, was a delightful blend of historic charm and modern comfort. This beautiful neoclassical mansion, dating back to the early 1900s, is a true gem in the heart of Ludington. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, with luxurious bedding and thoughtful amenities that made our stay truly relaxing. Jenna and Chris Simpler, the innkeepers, were exceptional hosts, displaying warm hospitality and catering to our every need with genuine care and attention to detail. Their passion for preserving the mansion’s rich history added a special touch to the experience.
The breakfasts were a highlight, featuring creative, locally sourced dishes that were both interesting and delicious. However, for lighter eaters like myself, it would be great if they offered a continental breakfast option alongside the multi-course gourmet spread. Overall, the Cartier Mansion is a must-visit for anyone seeking a unique, history-filled getaway with outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again. "
"I cannot say enough great things about this trip. Very close to the beach and downtown. Chris, Jenna, Meredith and Carson were all so amazing to meet and took really good care of us. The breakfast were so delicious and made us excited to get ready for the day. We will definitely be back to this beautiful house and town."
"Perfect location for our group of friends to stay while in town for a wedding. The location was amazing with the beach one direction and downtown the other. We walked or bikes everywhere. The property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed her. Highly recommend."
"Basically across the street from a nice beach. It’s very quiet with nice pool and also has yard games.
Very clean and staff friendly. Can easily walk into town! Loved it"
