"Great stay for 4 nights in Normandy after having arrived on the ferry from Portsmouth. Hotel was ideally located for Arromanches, a nice seaside town famous for being the centre of the D-Day landings by the British on Sword beach and the location of the Mulberry B harbour which still dominates the sea horizon. The hotel was just a five-minute walk into the centre of town and the beach. Rooms were clean and modern, but a bit warm as there was no air conditioning – the hotel gave us a tower...

"The property is beautifully landscaped, full of flowers. The themed rooms are clever: I stayed in the room called “Dog Tags”. The sport shower is awesome! You can add a breakfast, charmingly served in a metal footlocker. You get a thermos of hot coffee, hot milk, orange juice, cold milk, petits pots de yaourt, baguettes, croissants, butter and jam. The property is located next door to the Overlord Museum and walking distance to the American Cemetery. "
