"The property was clean and had everything we needed. The fire pit and games made the evenings enjoyable. The bedrooms need room darkening shades. The kitchen was well equipped except there was no salt! Unfortunately, the water level in the lake was low so we could not use the kayaks. The proximity to Mammoth Cave was awesome!"

"We had a great stay here for a few days visiting Mammoth Cave and the surrounding area. The location will be much more convenient to the park when the ferry reopens, but we still found it easy to get around and felt safe in the community. The cabin is laid out well for a family to stay, and has nice features for kids. Our preschooler loved the kids nook and some of the books and games there. All the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathtub was a standout feature. We had most of what we needed to cook a couple meals at the cabin, there are a few convenience stores nearby to get what was missing, and we also enjoyed some local places to eat.The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into making this place updated, cozy, and welcoming! It's a great value option for visiting the area. "
