"We well enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kourkoumelata. The owner greeted us as we arrived and helped us arrange a rental car. The room was tidy and aircon was on when we arrived making the room nice and cool (it was very hot outside). Staff were very friendly. The owner went above and beyond organising for our laundry to be cleaned and even giving us an impromptu driving lesson. For a two star accomodation I was very happy with our stay and experience. "
"No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. We could hear two people arguing on higher floor. 3 min walk to nice beach with an attendant bringing drinks. ...
"A spectacular modern apartment overlooking the south coast of the wonderful island of Kefalonia. We had all that you could wish for from this villa. Our host, Nikos, was really welcoming giving us local recommendations, showing us around the villa and gave us 24hr contact info. We even got a gift of local wines and delicacies as a birthday treat. I can not recommend this place highly enough. A great place to stay!"

"Lovely villa with all the amenities you'd be looking for - well equipped kitchen, great outdoor space with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas, plenty of space and modern TV. The villa was cleaned a couple of times during our stay but a lovely lady.The location is great - very close to the airport but not noisy at all. On arrival we had a welcome package with lots of nice goodies.The host was lovely and sent clear access instructions along with an information pack so we had lots of information before we arrived.Would love to come and stay again - highly recommended!"
"Old box TV, no channels working, a waste of time having it in the room. Furniture in room rundown, no clothes hangers. The bed was very comfortable.
Swimming pool was nice, needs more seating areas & lounge beds. No restaurant/food, snacks or water available on site, you need to drive to get these. Dinner & Breakfast needs to be pre booked in advance when not purchased in a package.
Internet was ok. Heaps of parking available.

"Our family had a great experience for 7 nights at Avithos resort. super close to the airport (9 minute), excellent location! Room has a fully furnished kitchen and a welcoming balcony! pool area is super well maintained and has enough chairs for all guests! Food is amazing and super tasty (until 9 pm only). Beautiful views and sunsets! kristina helped us reserve a private boat to Zakynthos and is super knowledgeable! Hotel is close to two beaches, small markets, 15 min to a bigger grocery store!! Absolutely recommend it!!!"
"Very peaceful, lovely villa perfect location everything there that you need, little added xtra's on arrival . The man who came midweek and cleaned and provided clean bedding and towels was very friendly and checked with us if it was ok to call the next day. Only a 5mins drive to the local beach which is perfect certainly going to return. Definately reccommend."
