The best area to stay in Ninarumi is along the main riverfront, particularly near the Ninarumi River Lodge and the surrounding village.

This area is the heart of Ninarumi, where the vast majority of accommodation options are located. It's a tranquil setting, directly on the banks of the Ninarumi River, offering easy access to the water which is central to all activities. The village itself is small and welcoming, with local craft shops and eateries dotted along the main paths.

Couples looking for a relaxing and private escape will find the lodges here ideal. Many lodges offer private bungalows with river views, providing a secluded experience amidst nature. You're perfectly placed for gentle boat trips, birdwatching, and enjoying the natural surroundings.

For those interested in exploring the local culture and wildlife, staying near the village provides convenient access to guided tours and interactions with the local community.

The best time to visit Ninarumi is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.

During these months, you'll experience lower humidity and less rainfall, making it much more comfortable for exploring the Amazon rainforest. The dry season also means the rivers are at their lowest levels, which can make wildlife spotting easier as animals congregate around the remaining water sources. This period is ideal for activities like jungle treks, canoeing, and fishing, as the trails are less muddy and river conditions are generally more favourable.

For those interested in birdwatching and wildlife photography, the dry season offers clearer skies and better opportunities to observe the diverse species of the region.
