Only suggestion for improvement would be to stock the kitchen a bit more with equipment. One pot and one pan don’t go far, and the dishes were a bit short so we ended up running the dishwasher a lot."

I was welcomed upon arrival by an extremely helpful young lady the keyless entry system is a fantastic idea and worked like a dream. The room was clean compact and very comfortable nice bathroom and very quiet bed was awesome! Check out was just as easy! A little of the beaten track however worth the ferry crossing and the 15 mins walk there’s supermarkets, eateries Amsterdam speciality shops and such friendly people. "Having stayed in several Doubletree hotels,this one was no exception in that,from the start,we were made to feel welcome Always greeted with a smile and there were 3 girls in particular who would serve us a coffee or a drink in the smaller bar after dinner who were especially kind. I know one was called Nadia and the other one was still at college but keen to get into hospitality and open her own bar one day .The third was a lovely small girl of chinese descent i think. Really the kind of people you want to see at front of house when you come in from the rain.
All in all a wonderful city well worth a visit.
