"10/10 hospitality from Guido and Krista! We thank you for your insight, recommendations and perspective! Casita 3 was a fabulous getaway for a week. Kitchen is adequate, as we did prepare most of our dinners there. The deck and views are fabulous. The mattress is very comfortable! Water quality and water pressure are great. Guido and Krista responded right away to an unexpected water pressure surprise. It’s close to Restaurant Teosinte, which should not be missed! Don’t forget Juan’s farm tour!...

"Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. "Overall the property was lovely. For an all inclusive the food was good. Cauri was the biggest letdown food wise, it just wasn’t flavorful. Bamboo was the one we ate at twice the first time it was amazing. The 2nd it was awful, the food came out at various times, some incorrect items, and the fried ice cream was lukewarm dough. From what we understood they were short staffed that night and a large family that didn’t make a reservation but berated the staff until they were let in which ruined it for everyone waiting. Service can be slow. You have to check in at the buffet and then wait for them to seat you. Which can take anywhere from 1-10 min depending on the time and day. I can’t imagine how the wait would be during high season. With sit down dinner it’s the same, water comes quick but can take time for the server to come. The staff are lovely always friendly and happy to help. The property was in great shape and cleaned regularly. We did wish the adults only side was open (under renovations) as many parents just let their kids run wild or play drums with silverware at a quiet dinner restaurant. If you don’t want to parent on vacation then leave your kids at home. The beach was clean and the vendors were not pushy, you tell them no once and they move along. I did end up getting a $40 hour long beach massage and it was amazing. We typically don’t repeat destinations but would stay here again if we did"

"Margaritaville on Playa de Flamingo was great! Great food, drinks (try the Green Monster), comfortable room, local entertainment, walk to a beautiful beach, large pool, pool tables inside, local craft fairs, sunsets, short walk to shopping, restaurants, harbor, sailing, snorkeling, surfing, diving. Plan to stay put on Weekend Sunsets as the small dirt road get crowded with guests and locals. Enjoy you stay."

"This place is a little slice of heaven. Me and my husband absolutely fell in love with this place. From the amazing staff to the incredible food this place is the way to go. It’s more relaxed, family oriented. Perfect place to go and enjoy the beach in peace. The beach is just a very small walk from your room. We are already planning another visit in the future. We didn’t know what to expect our first time in Costa Rica but this place has got you covered. I’ll give Freddy’s Experiences a good shout out. They will get you into an amazing excursion. So don't worry about booking something till you get there. Love this place."
