Hotel Riu Guanacaste - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Overall, I had a great stay at the Riu Guanacaste. The resort offers beautiful amenities, and there were plenty of activities and areas to enjoy. While some staff members came across as somewhat rude, many others were genuinely friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. One downside was the pool towel service, as towels frequently ran out and guests sometimes had to wait a long time for replacements. Despite that inconvenience, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated everything the resort had to offer."

"Celebrated my birthday there , Just an amazing experience, overall just amazing. Great pools, amazing food, nice atmosphere, positive vibes, clean rooms, and the best staff i ever met in my life , they are very helpful, they help at anytime and really quick, They don't say NO or We can't Or those words, they're really there to help whatever makes you happy .. i would definitely recommend it and would definitely return back."

"Lovely, cozy, very centrally located in Taramindo. A five minute walk out of the property directly into town. Be prepared to pay tourist prices for anything you purchase outside of the resort. Clean, and well maintained property. The on-property restaurant la Plumeria, was fantastic! The menu varied nightly and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only negative I have was where our rooms were located. The room itself was fine, but the first floor location right off of the main path, was neither scenic nor ideal. When we asked the front desk if we could be moved to a higher floor with a more scenic view - which is what we expected based on our room choices when booking- we were told there were no vacancies. Also, the rooms we booked together were located on opposite ends of the property! My advice for anyone traveling there would be to check with the hotel prior to your arrival to ensure your rooms meet your expectations."
