全室オーシャンビューで、天候が良ければ絶景です。周辺は地元のスーパーや飲食店、コンビニ等はありますが、やや距離があり車は必須です。事前に買い物をして、チェックインするのがオススメです。 アルコールの自販機などはないですが、フロント横の売店で購入でき、22時までと書いてありましたが、スタッフの人が開けてくれて対応してくれました。花火も売っており、マッチをくれて外の海岸でできたのは、良かったです。 お風呂は内湯やサウナがなく、露天風呂のみで、海を眺められて開放感がありますが、目隠しのフェンスがない箇所は海岸から丸見えなので、注意が必要です。

施設が古過ぎてびっくりしました。ザ、昭和の合宿所。近隣で大規模な花火大会があり、近くの宿がここしかなく泊まりました。寝るだけの宿なので耐えられましたが、ここを目的に来ることは今後もないです。 部屋の絨毯は薄汚れ、シミがあり部屋はやや汗臭かったです。 大浴場は洗い場が五つしかなく、四畳くらいの狭いスペースに縦に配列され、当時10人くらいが洗い場を利用していたのですが一つにつき2．3人が利用しておりました。脱衣所は、骨組みのラッキングにカゴが数個の昭和テイスト。 唯一、フロントマンは対応が良かったのですが、仮にもプリンスと名のついたホテルでここまで施設が悪いのは良いのだろうかと心配になるレベルでした。 施設の写真は現実のものに変えたほうが苦情が減るのではと老婆心ながら心配になりました。

眺めが最高です

当日予約で宿泊しました。 建物、設備は古いですがきちんと清掃され清潔感があり快適に過ごすことが出来ました。一番良かったのはお部屋からの眺望、アーチ型スペースのソファーでプライベートビーチを眺めながら波音を聞き贅沢な時間がもてます。

Considering the remote location and the rather outdated room, it was very expensive. While it is by the beach, that isn’t much of an atttaction outside of summer. Breakfast buffet was 2700, dinner buffet was 5,000. I didn’t have either. Tiles in the bathroom were cracked. It wasn’t bad; just very expensive for such a rural location, and kind of tired looking.

Old gem with a beautiful view

There are not many options in this part of Miyazaki prefecture so we chose this based on location and the Prince hotel name. This hotel must have been a crown jewel 20 years ago but now it is quite dated. However, they have tried to keep it clean and repair as much as possible. The ocean view is spectacular, especially to watch the sunrise and rooms are spacious.

禁煙の部屋を取ったにもかかわらず、喫煙の部屋に案内されました。 連休明けという事でホテルはガラガラ、私たちを含めて10組のみ宿泊(レストランスタッフに確認済) 総部屋数は80。 部屋に入った瞬間タバコ臭で喘息が発症。 すぐにフロントへ電話すると、他の禁煙ルームに空きが出たという事で移動。 そもそもですが、チェックイン時他に人はおらず、禁煙の部屋はすでに空いている状態でした。 なぜ喫煙部屋に通されたのか？ 支配人(翌朝) に確認したところ、基本的にエクスペディアからの客からの喫煙、禁煙に関するオーダーは確約ではなく、空きがない場合は消臭スプレー対応をマニュアルに乗せているとの事。 いやいや、ちょっと待てと。 私たちがチェックインするとき、先ほども書きましたが、他にお客さんはおらず、8階の喫煙部屋に通されてからフロントへ電話した際、「7階に空きが出たのでそちらへご案内させて頂きます。」と従業員。 実際に案内されたのは同じ8階の別の部屋でした。 という事は、チェックイン時には最低でも2部屋禁煙の部屋が空いていたという事になります。 さらに、その場で「空きが出た」と嘘の言い訳をされたと言うことになります。 結果禁煙部屋に移動になりましたが、喫煙部屋に15分ほど待機させられ、荷物や衣類にタバコ臭が染み付き、さらに喘息が発症。夜は眠れないほど苦しみました。 レストランスタッフに聞き込みを行って実際の宿泊客の数、総部屋数を確認し支配人には翌朝事実確認を行いました。 他に空き部屋があったのに何故喫煙部屋に通したのか？と問うと、他スタッフはキャンセルが出たのでと言ったにもかかわらず、支配人はあっさりと「配置ミスでした。」と非を認めました。 ただし、このプリンス系列では禁煙希望者にはこうした消臭スプレー対応がデフォルトだそうです。 そもそもですが、消臭スプレーをしたところで、そこは喫煙ルームです。 有害物質はそのまま蓄積され、匂いは吐き気がするほど酷いものでした。 支配人が、消臭スプレー対応はエクスべディアでのルールにも書いてあると、エクスペディア側の責任としてこちらに説明をしていました。 それが本当だとしたらエクスペディアも信頼出来ません。 一先ず、大型連休などで他に選択がない場合を除き、今後はこのプリンス系列には二度と宿泊しないと思います。
