"Excellent location for visiting the caves. Cabins are well maintained as are the other facilities. Walkable to general store and up to the cave visitor centre. The gentleman on reception was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. "

"I appreciate that there are old photos in the advertisement for the motel and that it is in need of tlc. I found the owners to be friendly and helpful. IReception is clean and tidy, my unit with a little more cleaning would be great the bed was comfortable and apart from the noise of the traffic my stay was okay but it was ruined by a rowdy, rude male next door to ruin it."

"Nice place just around the corner from the Waitomo caves experience with the 100 meter absail...There were a fair number of steps up to our room but the room was nice and the water pressure was good. We kept warm on a July night and slept well. The breakfast was a fine continental breakfast and checkout was quick. We only stayed one night because of our schedule but could have easily enjoyed a couple more!"
