"Hemingways was one of the nicest properties I’ve ever stayed at. All areas of the hotel were impeccable. Room was huge and well appointed. Staff were helpful, kind and able to accomplish anything we needed. We experienced Sunday jazz brunch, a cooking class, the spa, afternoon tea and private dining within their wine cellar. Each experience better than the next. It was difficult to have to leave to head home. Thank you hemingways for an excellent time. "

"Peter was an excellent host! He took great care of me and made sure I had everything I needed. There was an unexpected change to an alternate location instead of the guest house location that I booked which was a little confusing on arrival. Luckily I did not miss the pool. Meals served were very good and much appreciated. Food prices were not disclosed in advance but were reasonable. Peter made my stay enjoyable!"

"I traveled to Nairobi, where I was picked up by a staff from hotel. Stayed at the Troy hotel for two weeks. I had plenty of dishes to choose from. The staff checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. I was greeted going out and coming in. I was asked what would I like for breakfast the next morning. This experience was delightful being a single traveler. I recommend Troy hotel. It gave a family friendly atmosphere."

"Please don't reserve any rooms from this hotel. It's really not a hotel It's more like a motel. Very old rooms and very dirty no heater It's was very cold at night it was like sleeping outdoors. I will never reserve any rooms at the KAREN INN SUITE !!!!!!!!!"

"I’m using this hotel last five years and yearly may be 2-3 times Staff is very good environment is very good, clean and neat. "I was very pleased with my stay at Serena Nairobi. As a solo female traveler, I took advantage of paying for an airport transfer the evening I arrived. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. I got room service at like 1am that evening, too, and the attendant was kind as well. The property is gated and I felt very safe within. I had a spa treatment after a long day visiting the Nairobi National Park and I wasn't disappointed. I tried out the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room as well. All were nice and clean. The spa staff were very attentive. The lobby was large but welcoming with different sitting spots. The outdoor space was nice as well. I only spent two nights but the room was thoughtfully laid out with wall cabinets, mini fridge, clean bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. I wasn't able to eat at the restaurants, just have some afternoon tea in the private lounge for hotel guests. Overall, I recommend the hotel and I hope to be able to stay for longer in the future."
