There aren't many options for hotels in this area. We were pleased with the accommodations, front desk staff (young man was very polite) and the morning breakfast, as well.

This HI Express needs to stay at a new HI Express
Contrary to all the advertising, this HI Express was old and tired. Fixtures in the tub were falling apart. When I got into bed, I felt like I was rolling into a padded bowl. Thankfully, I was only there one night.

Highly recommended
My only disappointment was that I booked the room with handicap tub and the tub wasnt what I expected, I needed a bench or chair. I know now that I need the handicap shower. Thats my fault. The cleanliness, comfort and services was awesome. The breakfast was real good. Loved the pancake maker!.

Our request for a first floor room near an exit was filled. Room was very roomy, enough light to read, plenty of hooks and storage, and bench, desk tops to accommodate our stuff. Many choices for breakfast, both hot and cold food. We make this trip twice annually and will definitely book here again!

Better on the inside.
The only issue is the street sign being broken and cracked open made me almost turn around and go someplace else. I am glad I did not. The room was clean, had a window the opened but was still secure and the in room amenities were excellent.

I only stayed one night, but the lady at the front desk was kind of rude to be there doing her job. Room and everything was clean. However, the light in my bathroom kept flickering. There were weird noises coming from the fan. There was water, stains and clear water damage to the ceiling of wall. I just did not look very well kept.

My back was tight/sore from and over the previous 4 days and nights and sleeping in their bed with those soft pillows made me forget about it and feel better the next morning. Breakfast was good. The room was clean and bathroom was updated.

We chose this property for its proximity to I- 80. We were looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night to break up a long drive. This hotel was perfect. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. However, there was a bit of highway noise that you should consider if you are a light sleeper. I am one who typically stays at luxury hotels, so my standard is pretty high, but I would definitely return.

I hoped to get an early check-in because I got in town earlier than expected. I was told to come back in an hour at 3pm. I did come back at 3, and was still required to wait approximately 20 more minutes. When a paying contract is made it should be adhered to by all parties. I'm disappointed.
