I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. Small basic rooms, clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, small bathroom. Good for one or two nights before a cruise.

Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour
Room was very spacious, it would have been nice to have an extra armchair. Bed was comfortable. Lots of good towels. Didn't like not having tv channels to watch, we couldn't stream from our phones.

Harbour Hotel Southampton
Lovely decor and design, comfy beds. Very clean. Check in and staff generally need a little more polish to be considered truly 5 star. Room service dinner was nice apart from chunky chips with the fish and chips were hard.
