The Bears Den is a quiet cabin 30 miles from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN.

The Bears Den has 3 bedrooms, 9 beds, a queen sofa bed. The Master has a king bed and a set of bunk beds. The Queen room has a set of bunks with a Queen on the bottom and a twin on top. The third bedroom has two bunks with a total of 4 twin size beds. We are 4 miles from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and a mere 30 miles from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, Tennessee. The front porch is very large and has a beautiful view. The yard is very big. There are walking trails up the mountain and through the Cherokee National Forest. We provide sheets, towel & washcloths, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, paper towels, central air/heat, pots and pans, plates, cups, utensils, coffee maker, Keurig, an air fryer, microwave, stove, refrigerator, baking supplies, outdoor grills, charcoal and lighter fluid, a fire pit with wood to burn, some water soda and snacks, and games for the kids. We even have a few things there like toothbrushes, toothpaste, charging cords, combs, in the event you forget something. There are hiking trails up behind the cabin through the mountain. The best cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the Bears Den. Owners was very kind to left some items for us. The cabin is pet friendly, the location was awesome with beautiful views. We definitely return.

Absolutely loved this cabin

We loved everything about this property! The cabin was so cozy and felt like home away from home! We planned our stay to host our wedding and couldn’t have imagined a better location! Quiet mountain escape

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin tucked away from the main tourist spots. It was comfortable with many extra food items, snacks and other little extras that made being away from home feel more like home. Beautiful area and not too far from all the places you'll want to visit. Excellent value for what you get.

Amazing quiet cabin

Me and my family had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin out in Newport Tennessee. They provided so many amenities that I've never seen anywhere else I have stayed before! Just like staying in someone's actual house. I regret we couldn't make our stay longer but maybe next time! The only thing I could say has room for improvement is the water pressure kind of goes in and out but other than that it was perfect.

Quiet Place in the Woods

We needed to stay just one night so we had a place to crash after a family wedding when we arrived we were quite surprised. We use VRBO’s a lot and this place by far was the best we have stayed for awhile. Everything was fully stocked from food, snacks, and a binder explaining everything. Very clean and quiet but yet close enough to all the attractions in the area. I would recommend this spot to anyone coming to the area.

Little piece of heaven

This was such a pleasant surprise. There is literally nothing the host hasn’t thought of and provided for a wonderful stay. Secluded, clean, beautiful. Plenty of room for lots of people, games, fire, everything. I will absolutely be back. Couldn’t ask for more.

Absolutely LOVED Our Stay!

The pictures online don't do this place justice. It's absolutely beautiful and we LOVED our stay. This home is such a great family friendly and friendly oriented place. The owners were absolutely amazing and so sweet. It was so homey and welcoming. Already planning our next family vacation to come stay again. Highly recommend anyone who's looking to stay here to do so. We had 10 people total. It was my husband and I with our 8 kids (ages 19 down to 3) and we ALL loved staying here. Thank you again for everything!!!

Well supplied Den

The property is near I40 so easy to get to. Secluded but things close by. The owner has lots of extra stuff like pancake mix, eggs, sodas, all the spices and condiments. Lots of beds. We were not sure where the 4 bedroom was but we figured it was the one with fireplace. Nice deck and porch. Love it!!

Great Experience

We 8 friends stay over a weekend. The property is nice clean and has pretty much everything available for your needs. We had BBQ and Bonfire in the night under the stars. There are 2 BBQ grills and have lighter and coal etc available for your use. Kitchen is well stocked with cutlery regular and disposable. Every room has fan. Overall highly recommended.

Excellent house in Newport area

Access from I-40 and main roads was quick and easy. Very nice grounds, no other housing visible, very private. Nice views from great deck and dining area. Extremely well equipped, and cabinets are helpfully labeled. Clean except for a few pet hairs. Fairly comfortable bed in suite. Would have very dark night sky for stargazing if exterior lights could be turned off, but I suppose that's a liability thing.

Bear’s Den 😉

Came up from SC on Wednesday to find a nice place off the beaten path with good host experience from having amenities that are always forgotten such as chargers and cords for phones, etc. so many small amenities that were well thought out. It was 4 days of enjoyable family time that I wouldn’t trade for anything! Thanks to our most gracious host! Hope to see the “Den” again in the future!

the view was beautiful and the cabin itself was so adorable spacious comfy beds, stocked cabinets from A to z, games, nicknacks, etc the cabin felt like home. the hosts were amazing from booking, to staying to leaving. they even gave us extra time for checkout because others werent coming til later that day. they responded quickly and even brought aarowheads they found to give to us. we couldnt have asked for a better memorial day weekend to celebrate my brothers 40th birthday at this beautiful cabin i definitly recommend staying at The Bears Den: 5 stars

Best ever

Absolutely the best overall stay in any cabin or hotel I've ever stayed in and I travel a lot! The place is absolutely breath taking. Most wonderful hosts. Easy check in and check out process. Lots and lots of little extras I personally never expected! 10 of 10. Would stay again and again. I have a large crew of children that can be rowdy when they get together. I can only hope in our short visit we made a good enough impression that we will be invited back! Thanks again!!!!

AWESOME PLACE FOR FAMILY REUNION!!! WITH 5 DOGS!!!! FOR 9 DAYS!!!

We absolutely loved this house and property. 8 people and 5 dogs… (4 dogs over 50 pounds) ... if you are looking for a dog-friendly place where you can feel at home immediately, this is the place for you! All of us felt at home and comfortable and the pull-out sofa bed was nice as well! There are a lot of amenities, toothbrushes, shampoo, food, dishes— which came in handy! Even dog treats, dog beds and dog bowls =) The front porch is so nice in the morning with a far view of the mountain ridge. Very private and serene. The screened-in portion has games for fun well into the night! We had a great fire and saw a few turkeys too. Bill was very pleasant and to offered help if we needed it. It is a relatively short drive – 30 to 40 min to nearby Sevierville which is not bad when you want to get away from it all! And close enough to go to Buc-ees everyday ! And Dollywood is close too! We have already talked about a return visit. This home has been the reason we had such a great time in Tennessee.

The comfort of grandma's

We enjoyed staying in this home. The place was clean, comfortable, and reminded me of staying at my Grandma's home. The hosts were so kind and generous. They not only accommodated our request for an early check-in, when we entered the home we were welcomed to cold drinks in the fridge, snacks, and a welcome gift! We would stay again in a heartbeat if we ever travel to this area again.

Fantastic!!
