We have been to the Pleasant View Inn in Westerly 3 times, now, and it never disappoints. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and the pool was warm and crystal clear. We had requested a bottle of champagne in our room the day of arrival to celebrate our 37th year anniversary and there it was chilling in the fridge with two glass champagne flutes as we asked. The free coffee in the lobby was delicious and a nice touch. We had an oceanview room (highly recommend) and had the glass door opened at night with the screen door in place so we could feel the cool breeze and hear the waves crashing against the shore. It was wonderful to sip our champagne or coffee on the 2 person balcony. Just beware that there is no elevator… so if you want the 3rd floor… know that you will have to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs. Otherwise, we highly recommend the Pleasant View in for a simple, beautiful spring, summer or fall escape. We will definitely be back… the Coleys
