"My husband and I have stayed at the The Newport quite a few times over many years. We always have appreciated the location it’s in. We have noticed with our recent visit that the hotel is starting to shows it age and could use updating. Our TV seemed old and was not working well. Also the foyer light was out."

"Loved my little apartment style accommodation which was also doggie friendly!!! Location was fantastic, Staff were kind and very helpful! Parking was very convenient across the street and one could walk anywhere for dinner, waterfront...little bistros on a side street..... Cliff walk and the Mansions were a few blocks away....St. Mary's and Bellevue Avenue also within walking distance..... Window shopping on Thames... it's all right there!!!! Rooms very clean and maid service was great!!!"

"We arrived after the desk staff were off duty but we received lots of helpful communication about accessing the facility and the room, parking, etc. The room, and the property in general, were really lovely. Breakfast was delicious. The only concern was some pet dander on the sitting room sofa that prompted a mild allergic reaction for us."

"The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and inviting yet elegant. It was walking distance to all of the downtown activities that we enjoy and also to the Cliffwalk. We enjoyed everything about our stay! We will definitely visit again! "
