Roof top deck accessible during warm, clear days. Comfortable bed and nice shower with rain shower and hand held shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash pump bottles in the shower. Just a couple of blocks away from restaurants and shops. We enjoyed staying here. Ask for a ground floor room. Otherwise you will be lugging your luggage up stairs. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Attwater. The hotel is in a quiet, more residential part of Newport. We arrived the day after Labor Day and were upgraded to a suite on the third floor - it was like having our own apartment. All of the staff were very helpful - Brandy knows Newport well and gave us a lot of helpful info. At her suggestion we went over to Third Beach in Middletown and nearby Sachuest Point Wildlife Refuge, a gorgeous spot to walk and see goldfinches. We will return!"
