Beach Trip

Great Location!

Location was conveniently close to the beach . . . a short 100 yard walk. We were able to experience the ocean without having to drive and park. The three bedrooms were adequately furnished and the beds were comfortable.The host was extremely accommodating and replied to messages quickly. We would definitely consider staying here again.

What a great location! The cottage was comfortable, great location and a 5 Star beach just a few steps away. We were so busy with a wedding reception we want to come again and just enjoy the beach. Thank you!

Annual "Nana" trip with grandsons

This was our first trip to Newport. Condo location is fabulous with the added bonus of off-street parking. Stephanie was extremely responsive and helpful with a few inquiries we had. Beach was close enough to spend the day and run back to condo for breaks often. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything is as described. We hope to make this our new annual destination.

Cozy beach house

Was a perfect cozy beach house. Close to Newport and Hunnington beaches, close enough to drive to Disney as well. The only downfall is yiu can hear the folks upstairs, other than that the place was perfect for our family. The kids used the bikes and ejoyed riding everywhere.

Great time!

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our needs. 3 bedroom with 4 great beds. My granddaughters love the full size bunk beds. Well equipped kitchen and lots of ceiling fans. The best part… the beach was steps away. We’ll be back!

It was fantastic!

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, just one block from the beach. The garage was stocked with beach toys and bicycles that we could use. The house was clean. The patio was a quiet place to sit outside. The beds were comfortable. Overall, it was very nice.

Outdoor spaces in perfect location

We like outdoor spaces, and were pleased w the offering. Obviously great proximity to the ocean, AND with a nice cool private patio for hanging out at the cottage. Bonus was being on what IMO was the quietest street in this idyllic little slice of the Ocean-front world. AND the private drive we would learn was awesome.

Great location!

Our family rented the upper & lower unit! We had plenty of room and did all our own cooking & eating in the downstairs back patio! 100 steps to the sand! (my grandson counted!) This is our 3rd time here and we will be back!

Great location, lots to do.

We enjoyed our stay. Mere steps to the beach to lay out or just sit and have a tea. Close to Newport and Balboa with tons of places to eat, drink, and play games. We even took the ferry for a few bucks. There was a fire pit in the back that came in real handy. Place was clean and well equipped with everything you need. There were bikes and beach toys to use whenever we wanted. Host responded to all our questions promptly at all times (not too late).

So close to the beach!

Loved the location and the beach was so close!! Plenty of room for our family of five plus Grandma. Fans were provided but it still got a little warm especially the room with the bunk beds. A window A/C would have been nice but overall, very very pleased with the location and the apartment 😊

Fall break

We had a great time! The house was just what we needed. Plenty of chairs, and beach gear. Kitchen was well stocked. There was enough room for all of us on the sectional. We’d love to stay here again. :)

Great property what you view online relfects when in person! Suited all our needs for our travelling party from australia for my brothers wedding. Thanks to Host who accommodated an early check in for one of our guests. If ever in this stste again we look foresrd to booking with you

Family with Adult Children

It was important for us that our sons had their own beds since they are adults, but we still wanted to stay as a family somewhere. This beach house was perfect! The kids surfed, we went to Disney one day and had a great time exploring the Newport Beach area. The location is amazing! Clean house with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you!

Newport Beach in November

Great place and location. The only negative, which the owner clearly warned us about is being able to hear the upstairs renters - Really well... Music, footsteps and chairs were super loud even without my hearing aids :) So, if the renters are into staying up until 4:00am like ours did on Friday then you might as well go join them because getting sleep is not going to be much of an option.

Perfect for Family

We would stay here again. The unit had everything we needed for a longer stay. Quiet neighborhood even though neighbors are very close. Everything was very clean at check-in. The two minute walk to the beach was the best feature. Very close to a few takeout food options. It was so nice that the local beach in August wasn’t too crowded. A bit warm for sleeping in August but the fans in the bedrooms helped. The kids loved the large bunk beds and their own TV. Laundry in the garage was a plus!

Perfect location in Newport!

Loved our stay in Newport Beach! The house is only one house back from the beach, and a short bike ride to the Newport Beach boardwalk. Absolutely perfect location for our California vacation! Super awesome to have garage and driveway parking, which is a hot commodity in the Newport area. House had several bikes, beach chairs, a couple boogey boards, wagon and beach umbrella. Nice to have a washer and dryer too. The house had all the pots, pans, and eating utensils necessary to cook and eat at home. No spices or things for cooking, though, which was fine, since we didn't plan on cooking any major meals. Price was right, and the homeowner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Thanks so much!

Relaxing Newport vacation

Our 2nd time staying here. Had super nice neighbors upstairs who helped with the parking situation on 4th of July so our friends and their family all had parking spots. The house is spacious with a well stocked kitchen. All the beach supplies are provided from chairs and umbrellas to beach toys and brand new beach cruisers. 4th of July is always a blast with all of the fireworks on the beach and neighboring piers. Lots of food options close by, pizza, tacos, sushi, diners and fine dining. Charcoal bbq and fire pit in the private back patio. Super short walk to the beach and never had trouble finding a spot on the sand. Waves were super treacherous a few of the days and lifeguards were working hard rescuing people and issuing instructions and warnings. The other days the waves were strong but fun for our teens. The day after the 4th things calmed down and neighborhood was quiet again. Very pleased with the accommodations. Only down side is there is no ocean view from the downstairs unit and we could hear people’s footsteps above us. We love Newport and this location is great. Very close to the beach and eateries but quiet enough to be relaxing. We will be back again.

Quiet area VERY close to sand

This property is very very close to the sand, probably a 90 second walk. It was real easy to go back to grab something you left behind. Also, you can’t tell by looking at a map that the benefit of this area is that it’s less crowded with visitors and traffic. Nobody is driving through this neighborhood unless they live there, and it’s just houses, there's no shopping or attractions (other than the beach), and there’s no parking for anyone not staying there. It’s real quiet and plenty of room on the beaches. Also, anything you need is still a very short distance. We walked to the coffee & breakfast shops right next to the neighborhood. The check in process was super easy and the owner was very responsive and helpful. Property was very clean and everything was as-advertised. The garage was stocked with beach chairs and other beach stuff, and my family and I rode the bikes every day. Like the description said, you can hear people upstairs but it didn’t keep us up. Each room has a good floor fan good for people like us that sleep with fans. This is an awesome place.

Cozy house close to the beach.

This is an older home that has a small patio with a table and chairs and a wood fire pit. The living area has wood floors with a large L shaped sectional and a picnic style dining table. It’s not well lit. The 3 bedrooms are carpeted. We were 4 adults and were comfortable in the apartment. We stayed in December, and the heat worked well. The bathrooms both have walk in showers. The vanities have some counter space for toiletries or makeup. The kitchen is galley style with granite countertops. The oven vent did not work and the sink faucet was wobbly. The landlord offered to send a plumber, but we weren’t using the kitchen except to cook eggs. The unit was very quiet until tenants arrived in the unit above us. We could hear them walking above us and hear their toilets flushing. There were bikes to use and a washer and dryer in the garage.
