Only spent one night and would stay again. Neat John Wayne Airport and didn’t hear any plane fly by’s. Great night sleep with comfortable bed and Gigantic TV. The only surprise was $35 for daily in/out parking. No where else to park, so embrace it =)

Every employee we encountered from the first phone call, to the friendly staff who attended to us at the coffee shop/store, to the delicious brunch and the very attentive staff who greeted and served us there, to checking our final charges at the front desk, was friendly, helpful, and professional. We had a wonderful experience in our short overnight stay. I will definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking to stay in or near Newport Beach. Thank you so much.

Even though the hotel is very close to the airport, staying on the top floor you don't hear the airplane noise. The room seem well insulated. Good bed; good refrigerator.. Although parking is not free, it is outdoors and easy to get in and out of the lot.

Overall this is a great hotel. Good area. We just got in late and walls were paper thin. Heard everything next door and didn’t sleep till 2-3am.. When we asked for an extra 30mins on checkout cause our sleep we got a hard no. Most staff were awesome… just the one person we got.

I only stayed here one night and overall I would say I had a great experience. They gave me champagne to welcome me as I checked in. Room was a good size amount. I did enjoy my stay here. When I come back to Newport, I will definitely book again and highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency-West. The staff was so friendly and every area of the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our guest experience was the best. The food in the restaurant and cafe was delicious and the service even better. Our stay over July 4th was the best hotel experiences I have had in years.
