We loved our stay!! It felt like a cute little cottage. It’s not updated but we liked that. It’s super charming. Very clean. I appreciated the supplies provided. The bikes and beach gear were so helpful!! Several coolers as well and lots of toys. The location is super quiet and a short one minute walk to the beach. The host met us there to make sure we got settled in and help with anything we needed. We loved it. We would stay again!!

Cozy Newport Bungalow

We enjoyed our stay immensely at this cozy house in Newport Beach. It was a perfect place for us 4 adults and 2 kids to stay comfortably. Everything we needed was readily available - even beach cruisers! We would stay there again for sure!

Great location!

About a block to the beach and a block to food! The donut shop on the corner is open 24 hours on the weekend and the donuts are amazing. Liquor store in the same shopping center has great selection and prices. Grocery store with Starbucks inside is a short drive. Property was exactly as described and fit us all perfectly.

beautiful house a block from beach

This was the best vrbo we've stayed at. Right by the beach on Balboa Island just off PCH. Restaurants to walk to, beautiful blocks to walk down, near HB and Long Beach. Rich met us onsite and gave us a great short tour, and he was easy to get hold of. Price was reasonable, too.

Newport Beach vacation

Great place to stay! The house was perfect for our family of 5 and lived having the beach toys available for us. We would stay again. Parking in the area is tough and the garage would be very hard if we had a larger SUV. We rented a minivan and parking in the garage worked out good.

Charming and comfortable house near the beach

Our welcome from the property manager was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the clean and roomy house, comfortable bed and the short walk to the beach. We rode the cruiser bikes on nice trails from our neighborhood and enjoyed just walking to the grocery store and restaurants easily. The neighborhood feels safe and the beach is clean and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the beach with the chairs provided and watching all the surfers, birds & dolphins.

Short walk to beach, food within walking distance. Shared patio, tight garage parking very appreciated, street parking tough to find. Original beach home, well maintained, newer appliances, everything we needed. Would recommend.

Close proximity to everything

My husband and I and two friends of mine from Northern California stayed at this property to attend a concert in Huntington beach. The bicycles the beach the atmosphere the house the bedding the communication everything was a plus plus I would definitely recommend for any families that are traveling with for adults or small children great place great communication definitely would run again

Loved the space, it suited our family of 5 very well with plenty of space to hang out, eat, and sleep (and 2 bathrooms!) The location was so close to the beach, with plenty of supplies to enjoy it with. The hosts were excellent in communication, and we were very happy with the whole thing!

Cute beach house with style

We had an amazing stay at this cute beach house! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk (less than a block!) to the ocean. The hosts were fantastic with communication and even met us at check-in, which made everything super smooth. The house had great amenities to keep us entertained, and it really captured that laid-back beach vibe. It was clean, cozy, and perfect for our group of five. Plus, we were close to so many great restaurants and fun things to do. Would definitely stay here again!

2 minute walk to the beack

Great stay and lovely home! Don't recommend bringing a diesel truck as far as parking goes, a small sedan would fit perfectly in garage! HIGHLY RECOMMED

This property had everything that we needed.

Location was perfect to beach.... walking didtance. Short drive to pier and other activities. Having boogie boards, chairs,umbrellas and sand toys for the beach was a very nice touch. Homeowner always stayed in touch and the on site person - Rollo was a wealth of knowledge and fun to speak with. If we visit Newport Beach again we will most certainly stay at this location.

Fantastic!

Our family had the time of our life! The accommodations were great, just as shown on the VRBO listing. It was homey and full of items you would need for your stay. Unfortunately there was a heat wave during our stay and since there is no air conditioning, when needed, we just carried the fans from room to room. We are planning another stay next year! Highly recommend!

Very cute beach house perfect for a family!

We loved our stay at this beach house!! The vaulted ceiling in the front room made it seem spacious while the wood beams made it cozy. Th layout was perfect for our family of 6 and had everything we needed. The beach towels/chairs/toys were much appreciated! A quick walk to the beach and very near great food. The garage fit our Minivan (Honda odyssey) but I will say my husband is a pro Parker and I wouldn’t have attempted it, it’s a tight squeeze but very nice having that option. Overall would absolutely stay again!

Disneyland trip was a quick drive!

Loved the people who are running the property. Best I’ve experienced. No complaints at all. I really wish the deposit was not held onto for so long. It’s been released a week afterwards, but I’ll be closer to 4 weeks for the deposit.

Very nice house and great location!

We stayed at this house for a week, and the owner was wonderful to work with. We had never been to Newport Beach before, and she was a wealth of organized and helpful information. She was also very quick to respond to any questions we had before and during rental time. The house is great, exactly as described, and very clean and nice, and the location is perfect. We have 2 kids and were close enough to visit Disneyland and Legoland easily during our stay. Also, the house was close to restaurants (we enjoyed dinner and ice cream bars at Balboa island one night and the Yard House on another night), groceries, Starbucks, everything we needed. I also enjoyed running along the bike path on the beach very much. We will definitely take this trip again, and I would recommend it to friends.

Good house great location great price

This is a property within walking distance of The beach. We normally stay beachfront so we were concerned about staying a block away but it was great! Not inconvenient as I had expected. The property is older and thus there were some inconveniences and quirks but overall it was an excellent value. It is the least expensive property that we have rented in Newport over the last 20 years. We appreciated the availability of bikes, boogie boards, and beach chairs. Although we have an older family and didn’t use beach toys, there were plenty of those also. One thing to note is that the WiFi was very weak and unreliable. My husband had to get some work done and wasn’t able to do so at the house. It was also an issue because our family has a lot of devices that use WiFi. Overall I would recommend this property.

Great location!

Great location, less than 2 blocks to the beach and walking, biking path. Also, 2 blocks in the other direction, you'll find coffee, a restaurant, liquor store, tacos and really any basic amenities you'll need to enjoy your stay. We did not have a car and didn't need it with this great location. 2 bikes in the garage, and all the beach toys. A few things to consider: the property is old but nicely maintained. It does lack privacy, you share the front patio with your neighbors. Also, unfortunately for us , there was a heat wave with no AC! There are plenty of fans in the house to keep the air moving and we just jumped in the ocean to cool off. The house met our needs, but isn't fancy. Good value.
