Great place to relax.

Perfect for a beach get-away!

Upstairs unit was very clean, with comfortable beds and sufficient WiFi and climate control. Richard was very kind with each interaction. I would definitely stay here again! Tip: There is an on-site coin operated washer and dryer… I had trouble getting a roll of quarters from the local shops, so best to bring a roll .

Awesome location!

My family of 4 stayed for 4 nights in October and it was the perfect location for our travels to San Diego, LA, and the OC. It's also only a minute or two walk to the beach/ocean which we took advantage of daily to watch the sunset. The neighborhood is very nice and safe. It's also very quiet. There are a few restaurants within walking distance which were very good. We stayed in the upper unit and never heard the guests in the lower unit. We parked our compact SUV in the garage without issue. Beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Great location, very clean, had everything we needed!

Lovely rental for our 2 nights in Newport; only wish we had the option to check in a bit earlier. Most VRBO type places I’ve stayed in allow the guests more independence when arriving, but Happitravels uses a “helper” whom we had to text/call 45 min before arrival, and he was a friendly guy, but more chatty than we needed, having previously lived in the area and not having questions. The 2 bikes offered for use were a great perk!! The lock keypad was very convenient and worked fine. Walking to the 20th Street pier was 1.2 miles, so about 20 minutes. The AC was much appreciated! A+ stay, overall. Just didn’t need a check-in helper, IMO.

Great location, nothing special

Overall we had a really good stay. The location is terrific, very short walk to the beach. The place is VERY CLEAN and has some nice amenities such as a couple of bikes to ride, a garage space to park your car and comfortable beds. If you are just looking for a clean place to crash this is perfect. Other than that, everything in the place is a bit outdated. The outside patio is shared with the downstairs unit, which is not great for privacy. They do have window air conditioning units but they are old and noisy. Also the place has older windows and is not well insolated as it is cold in the morning (we were there in October) and you can really hear and feel traffic, especially when large trucks go rumbling by. However, the host was very nice. Easy check in and overall it was a nice place to get away for a couple of days.

Love the location of this place. Walking distance to the beach. They have a shopping center across the street with many different food options. I'm glad they had bikes already that we could just drive up and down the street. If you expect to take your vehicle in and out of the garage that would be the only downfall because the garage is small. That takes a three-point turn to enter the garage. is to be expected in beachfront property though. We just walked and drove bikes and had a great time.

Husband’s 60th getaway vat at!

Sooo convenient - once you are settled and have your parking, other than that, great time. Immaculate cottage, we rented both unit for extra space! Everything you need is all around you, walking, or bike riding, plus bikes available along with all the beach necessities needed! Will definitely return for summer fun!!!

Cozier property than I thought but perfect for a family of four

10-12 block walk to the boardwalk, but an absolute beautiful walk to beach, boardwalk and shops. The hosts were amazingly knowledgeable and supportive to the area

Beach Hideaway

Super cute property, very close to the beach and they provided lots of fun beach toys. Manager was very easy to contact and responded quickly. We had an amazing time in Newport!
