"The staff were great, the rooms were lovely, and the only thing that let the place down was actually other guests who changed the controls on the toaster, to the degree that the rest of my breakfast went cold while I put my bread through 3 times, and then gave up - resulting in cold breakfast, stewed, cold tea, hard bread instead of toast - apparently it's an ongoing problem, which the staff perhaps need to monitor a bit more closely."

"It is a good hotel ideally situated to see the cathedral and walk into the centre of Lincoln. Lovely staff. Lots of restaurants close by. Parking available although you have to pay even though you’re a guest! Recommended"

"Breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. Plenty to choose from. Car parking very reasonable with the discount and felt very secure. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, but sofa and carpet could do with a clean. "

"Breakfast was very good, good variety and hot. My wife is Lactose intolerant and wheat free. The staff were very helpful in making sure that she was given freshly cooked items. The room was clean ans Sraff very friendly. We didn't use the bar as were were attending an R.A.F. Reunion. The only disappointment was the cost of the car park."

Bars comfy and reasonable prices. Lovely outdoor area with a Stokes Tea room selling lovely food. Amazing Tapas restaurant opposite and a nice pub too. Location is perfect for cathedral and castle especially useful for university graduations. Easy walk to Steep Hill cute shops and the big shopping area. Also there is a little "secret garden" in the grounds which is beautiful and a great place to sit and relax. We loved our stay, it was our second visit and would be our first choice for future trips."
