Awesome stay. Cool little room with everything you could want, nice and quiet (on a Wednesday night). Car park was full when I arrived but there is free evening parking nearby so there was no issue. Walkable to shops and pubs/restaurants. Will be back. Oh, also staff was excellent and they had liquid dnb playing in the lobby in the evening. Loved it.

I booked this hotel specifically as it said onsite parking. When we arrived there was no where to park. We had to park in a pay and display get up at the crack of dawn to buy another ticket so we didn't get a fine. Not happy.

Amazing find!

One night stay after a visit to the races, was made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We thought the hotel had only just opened as it was so trendy, clean & tidy and free from any damages that we could see! Food was delightful, service was so good considering they were planning a party for Halloween also. Have never felt so welcome at a hotel. Will most definitely want to stay again!

Amazing customer service

Fabulous location, fabulous staff, lovely garden. Room very comfy but bathroom tiny and shower not great. Would stay again just for the staff team who were excellent. They couldn’t do enough for us. Free electric car (Tesla) charging too which was a bonus.

Comfortable Newmarket hotel.

Nice room. Friendly staff. No breakfast just a take away box , not gluten free. Gluten free beer in bottles , crazy price but nice to have. Tiny car park. I will stay again.

Good friendly clean hotel but no parking

Good friendly clean hotel. No breakfast and parking very limited but all good. Probably wouldn't book again due to the parking but im a 'parking snob' and have a LWB van so after a 12 hour day dont want to be walking half a mile to my hotel plus have the van on the side of the street. But hotel all good 4* stars

Delivers in every area

Great welcome and fast check in by Lorenzo, who answered questions knowledgeably and kept checking all was well, including with my evening meal after I arrived late. Chef also deserves a mention - despite ordering at closing of service, a hot, generous tasty plate was perfect with my pint. Very comfortable room and bed, but what also stood out were the accoutrements - fan, fridge, toaster, microwave as well as tea & coffee making. Fantastic location caps it all off.

Great location - near shops and handy for the race meeting with courtesy bus pick. Negatives. No onsite breakfast. The room lacked storage space, very cramped, and had a moisty smell. On site disco was noisy and not mentioned when booking.

Not really premier. disco in the bar until 11.45 that you could hear in all the rooms not good at all. Very pricey on race days putting £100 on the normal price is not good. Definitely not a £200 per night hotel, cheaper in London than this hotel, and no breakfast included. Definitely will not be returning.

My friend didn’t stay because the bottom sheet had dried bloodstains on it, she used the shower to freshen up, if you want me to keep this to myself I want a better rate offered to me for another stay otherwise I will feel compelled to share it, I will be in your hotel to speak to the manager within an hour or two. On arrival staff were welcoming and friendly. There was not a lot of parking available, however staff shuffled around a few cars and parked my car for me. Really nice touch. There was a disco going on and a nice happy atmosphere. Our room no.25 - lovely big bed and had everything we needed. Nice touch with the fridge, microwave, toaster, plates etc and tea / coffee making facilities. Room was clean. Our room overlooked the pub garden which was an experience, tinted windows would be better as we had to keep closing the curtains - no privacy. We stayed for 2 nights and went to the races on Saturday- there is a complimentary bus from outside the Unico restaurant around the corner which was a bonus. The location of the hotel is perfect for the town - right in the middle and races which is 5 mins up the road. The only downside was the cleaning staff shouting loudly at each other which woke us up on the first morning, crashing around. Also there was a smoking bin outside our window so staff smoking and loudly talking made our room smell of cigarettes. I would suggest staff don’t discuss previous guests, rooms, what they did last night and other staff in customer facing areas and be mindful they can be heard. Discos on Friday and Saturday night but this didn’t keep us awake The garden was lovely to sit out in the sunshine - lots of seating outside and in covered pods. Great location, friendly bar staff, lovely room I would stay again as long as cleaning staff weren’t so noisy

The Kings Hotel Newmarket.

The room was clean, tidy and bright. The only thing I will say is the size of the room is quite small. The bathroom was well laid out, but again a bit on the small size. The host couldn't have been more helpful. I would have like a proper breakfast but the offer of a breakfast box was on offer, which I didn't take up so can't comment on that.

DO NOT BOOK room 31 or 32, they are incredibly noisy. Impossible to sleep from 7am onwards, and as late as 2am, the doors are constantly banging shut, with people coming and going.

Great location just off high street and near the Rowley Mile racecourse Limited parking , would help if customers could park straight Nice welcome , room OK clean , comfortable bed and good shower . Everything you need , microwave , tea coffee etc Bit expensive but everything is these days Needs updating but enjoyed stay
