Staff that greeted me gave great customer service both before I arrived and on arrival. Unfortunately when I booked I didn't realise the bathroom was shared. It didn't say this when I booked and I've since been in to double check. The image showing looks like an ensuite bathroom. If i had known this I wouldn't have booked. Other than that it did the job for the night. I arrived late and left early in the morning so was only wanting a bed for the night. Would have been good to have a kettle tea/coffee in the room but I suppose that's what you get for the price.

First of all there were no TV no Fridge no kitchen no facilities to put anything that you had to bring with you no soap in the bathrooms to wash your hands Also no tea and coffee in the rooms at all there should’ve been an upstairs kitchen where you could go and have tea and coffee but nothing we will never stay there again the bed wasn’t very comfortable either very noisy place so you’ve just lost two people

Didn't realise from website photos it was shared bathrooms. Kept awake by other guests from midnight until 4am partying in room once hotel closed.

Room was too hot to sleep, luckily we brought a portable fan with us as the fan in the room was useless as the proverbial. Had to open the windows to let the breeze in and the noise from the pub came in through the windows. Doors sqeaked constantly and kept hearing doors slamming all night. The staff were very friendly, just had issues with the room.

You get what you pay for. Note there is NO air conditioning, and no ensuite - it is a shared bathroom (clean). We attended a function in the General Roberts and used the accommodation as it was convenient. It was summer and stifling hot - the window only opens 10cm and it is a busy road outside. The bed ensemble and pillows were very poor quality
