"The room was sort of clean but had clearly seen better days. The bathroom was not great. The toilet roll holder had been pulled out of the wall by a previous guest and was just hanging there. The towel rail did not work and was thick with dust, the walls were scuffed and marked for what appeared to be a long time. I like the hotel, have stayed before but they do need to sort out the rooms "

"Lovely location over lookin Castle and getting around. Comfy bed, lovely thick towels and the white company toiletries. Only complaint our room was opposite lift so you could here it early morning and late at night."

"Overall the hotel and staff were very nice and polite. The only problem we had was at the breakfast on the second morning Soft poached eggs were ordered but after waiting for 15 minutes and reminding staff, they came out like bullets! The rest of the food was quite cold as well "
