Downtown Newark is a historic district with an iconic skyline consisting of early 20th-century towers. It contains the central business district and many art deco warehouses and offices that have been converted into bohemian residences. Enjoy the lively atmosphere in this active hub full of restaurants and an impressive multipurpose arena.

Gaze up at the iconic golden dome of Newark City Hall, the district’s main political nucleus. Admire the imposing columns that decorate the façade and sides of the building. The interior is adorned with marble features and a grand staircase.
