We stayed in this cozy two-bedroom apartment for one night and really enjoyed it. The space was very clean, and we were even able to check in early at no extra cost, which was a nice surprise. Another bonus was that no incidental hold was required. While the building and apartment are older, they have a lot of authentic charm — it truly feels like living in your own New York City apartment during your stay. I would definitely recommend this location!

Great Location

Great little place for our family of 4 to be able to explore the area. Perfect location to be able to walk to sites and use the subway. Comfortable apartment, easy communication with owner. Highly recommend!

GREAT location, responsive host, nice building with clean facilities. The room is quite large and we comfortably slept 5. The additional twin bed is a real mattress and bed frame which was very nice. Of note, only the living room had a wall ac, so we kept the French doors open to circulate air. The bathroom was functional but quite small, with no ventilation beyond a small window that needed to be propped open, but it worked well enough for us. Highly recommend!

Had the best short trip!

The rooms were just as described. The location is phenomenal for walking everywhere in Midtown. The room and building are unique. After staying we Googled the Mansfield Hotel and it turned out to be a historic building. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Midtown location near Times Square and all the Broadway shows. Beds were very comfortable. Great shower pressure. Room was immaculate. Great spot for ladies' weekend in NYC!

Some difficulties with host communication beforehand. Excellent location!! Quiet, nice, clean atmosphere. You can drop off luggage early and store in a luggage room in lobby.

The property is in a superb location, just a few blocks from Times Square, which is definitely the biggest advantage. The place was clean and the check-in process was very easy, which made arriving stress-free. That said, the accuracy of the online listing is a bit questionable. the photos make it look like a spacious apartment, but in reality, it feels quite cramped with barely any extra space. Overall, the location and price are the main selling points here. For a two bedroom place in this neighborhood, it's a reasonable deal - just don't expect the roomy space the pictures suggest.

This property is central to some of NYC’s most popular sights. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay, but the communication with the host could have been better.

Great NYC Basecamp

Perfect location right in the heart of NYC. Walking distance to many areas and restaurants. Spent every morning in Bryant Park while my wife and daughters were getting ready. My only reason for knocking the rating down to 4 stars is only one room had an A/C window unit. While the rooms adjoin it would have helped keep the other room more comfortable.

Blocks away from the heart of the city this was the best deal for my family and gave us the true NYC experience for the birthday weekend celebrations! Highly recommend and would love to come back again (next time without the kids!!!)

Great location but poor service

We liked the location, but we had no washcloths and only 4 towels for 5 guests. Once we checked in, we never saw a member if the staff again. There was supposed to be a breakfast but we never did find it.

Great central location easy walking distance to theaters, tons of restaurants, etc. Feels like a safe neighborhood, as long as you're used to urban environments. Small space, but given the location in NYC, great value for the price. One quibble, if there was a third, twin bed, we didn't see it, unless the small couch folded out. But I was there with my two kids and we were planning on sharing the two double beds anyway, so it wasn't an issue for us.

NYC in July

This property was very well-located for all that we wanted to do, and it was clean. Although it has bed space for 5, I highly recommend you DON'T have 5 people stay there.1. The rollaway bed (bed #5) was broken.2. The AC unit only covers one of the two rooms, so it was a warm sleep for the two in the second bedroom.3. The bathroom is TINY!4. Only 3 towels were provided and it took a day to get 2 more. One of us dried off with a T-shirt.

Location is Perfect!

Loved this place. Loved the downstairs lounge/library area. Jane Doe bar had great vibes - my husband spent time there. The location was everything - walking distance to Fifth Ave and Times Square. Property manager was very accommodating. Cozy is an accurate description. It was tight for our family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 teens, but we were good. Make sure to pack your wash cloths and toiletries. No complaints.
