It's a perfectly fine hotel and one of the few available in the Red Hook area. For the cost, I've slept on more comfy beds in rooms with better amenities, but it is quiet and clean. The TV guide was maddening. Way too many channels and no overall guide. Best thing was the breakfast and the catering staff -- a touch above the average hotel breakfast and friendly people serving you.

I needed to change my reservation, shortening my stay one day. The management did not allow me to do it, although I was still on time to change it. I had to pay an extra night for nothing. The hotel is OK and quiet. The breakfast is really great (especially for NY) and the staff is very nice. If you work in mid or upper Manhattan, the commute is a bit long, although you have the ferry very close.

Terrible experience at this hotel. We arrived to a window wide open. The window had no screen and wouldn’t close. This room could not be occupied. The front desk clerk was no help. We were not offered an alternate room and received no follow up when we had to find another hotel. No refund was given, not even a partial refund for a 3 night stay.

The location in Brooklyn was convenient. The room was updated and the property was modern. Parking was a bit expensive for onsite, uncovered, unprotected option. The complimentary breakfast made up for the small size of the room and elevator.
