This hotel was very quaint. I loved the rock wall in our room. The breakfast was great! Easy walk to Old Quebec City. Bed was comfortable. I would book this hotel again!

Good location, close to Time sqaure but very noisy at night, I mean extremely noisy, the hotel needs better sound proofing from the outside noise, as it sounds like the street noise is just outside your bedroom door and we were on the 9th floor. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean, just a bit tired looking, in need of a make over. The outside area street was quite dirty, compared to other hotels where I have stopped in NYC before.

Overall, my visit was good. Check in person lacked some customer service skills, other staff were very courteous. As an elder person, my big concern is the danger of falling, I was displeased when I was unable to get a rubber mat to place in the bath tub, falls in bather tubs/showers are the most common accidents for the elderly, would recommend putting rubber mats in bathtubs/.showers. Bobby the porter was especially pleasant and efficient Thanks you.

Unique property. Liked the nostalgic vibe. Restaurants were fun and good food. Rooms were large, bathroom a little small but it is NYC. Overall I would stay here again.

The room where we stayed had not been updated in years, the paint on the bath tub was stained, scratched and peeled off, the wallpaper was peeling at the seams, and the mattresses were bouncy, to the point the the other person moving in the bed woke me up. The sheets were clean. The room felt humid even though the AC was on. They are in the process of updating so this was obviously a room that had not been updated yet, so it will probably be better in the future. The lobby was always crowded, but the front desk staff was nice and helpful.
